Kodi continued walking slowly towards the village with one of the two male wolves ( Let's say it's yours? =o ). He hated admitting it but he was really scared.

The female smiled at that, "Oh, okay..." she then hesitated but then asked, "Uh... are you doing anything tonight?"

Kirby smiled normally, "Nope I am a free bird. No mail comes in for a while yet." He then said, "You see your compatriot over there," he pointed to Dusty, "well she uh thought you were going out with my friend and she was jealous."

The wolf followed him quietly and said to him, "I hate that she has a crush on you. Trust me if it were up to me you would be buried alive! Don't try anything stupid." He became silent and tried to avoid humans.

The female slowly nodded, "Oh, I see... Well I wont come in between her and your friends." she hesitated but then said, "So... you are free tonight..."

Kodi looked at the wolf with a surprised expression, "A crush? On me?" he was probably just joking around with him. Or was he? She did use that really confusing tone back there and stopped her companions from killing him, but that didn't mean anything. Kodi decided to just shrug it off, "Don't blame me if we don't find him." deep inside Kodi hoped that they would not.

Kirby just nodded.

The wolf whispered, "Yes a crush on you. I thought it was obvious." Once they started looking around the wolf said, "If we don't find him soon I'll bury you alive!"

The female suddenly looked down at her paws and said nothing.

Kodi gulped and frowned, "It's not my fault. I don't decide where he is you know." being so scared of the wolf caused Kodi to forget about the entire crush thing untill it came back to his mind. 'It can't be. She's a wolf, does that even make sense?' he then shook his head, 'Of course it does. My dad... I'm still sure this is a miss-understanding.'

Kirby said, "Well I mean now that we are alone you can go with me tonight if you want..."

The wolf just said, "We better find him soon. That is all I will say." He then said, "I'll kill you for her got it?"

The female smile as he said what she hoped he would say, "Oh, that would be nice."

Kodi had the feeling that this wolf didn't really like him. "Uh... I think you were just imagining back there." he tried to somehow calm him down about that, "I mean think about it. Why would a wolf like a dog?" he peeked through the corner of the alleys whenever they came across one but he couldn't recognise his father anywhere.

The wolf said, "I imagined nothing. And I'll give you a hint. You better tell her you care nothing for her or I'll rip you apart!"

Kirby just nodded. "Well I'll be back later tonight." He then went up to Dusty, "Kodi is not back yet?"

Kodi gulped. He continued looking towards the mainer streets but still couldn't see his parents anywhere, or anyone who might be able to help him.

The female smiled, "Okay." she then went back to talking with her friends. Dusty just shook her head at Kirby, "No." she knew how important it was for Kodi to be 'right on time', especially when it came to their mail deliveries. "He said he'll be back in a few minutes. But it's been a while already."

Kirby said, "Are you worried as well. I mean even though this is a town there are dangers out there. He could have wondered off and been attacked..."

The wolf said, "Hurry it up. You better find him in the next few minutes."
