In a way, Simba was happy that it was his mother and Nala's mother that would be coming with him and Nala on this little excursion. He looked at Nala. "Well, at least it's better than having Zazu around," he told her.

"Yay!" Nala shouted excitedly. She started to run signalling for Simba to join her. "I'll race ya all to that tree! Last one there is on it for hide 'n' seek!" she shouted again!

Simba took, off following his friend. To his surprise and delight, he won. "Well, Nala, looks like I've beat you for the first time," he said proudly.

Nala sighed, "Ahh well, you and Sarabi can hide and me and mom can go look for ya". Nala started to count loudly, "1, 2.....3!"

OOC: I apologize, but I'm starting to run out of ideas for the current scene, so I'm just going to move ahead. Nice work everyone!

It was then that the cubs' game began. It was great fun for the both of them. Soon, time began to pass, and Simba grew into a handsome adolescent. His golden fur had become shinier and he now had the scruffy beginnings of a mane. At the moment, from his spot on top of some rocks, Simba was looking at Nala, who was now a beautiful young lioness. As he looked at the girl who had been his friend since they were little, Simba realized that he was beginning to like her in a "more-than-friends" way. "Wow, she's beautiful," he said.

Nala was walking slowly through the jungle and looked up at Simba who was looking at her from the rocks. "When has he got so handsome" she thought to herself, she padded up towards him. "Hiya Simba" she said.

Upon hearing Nala's voice, Simba turned to her. "Hey Nala," he replied. In his heart, he wanted to tell her how he now felt about her. Now that she was with him, he decided that there was no sense in waiting. "Nala, I need to tell you something. Something important. I'm beginning to like you, as more than a friend," the teenage lion said.

When Nala didn't reply immediately, Simba spoke again. "Even if you don't feel the same way, I just wanted you to know how I felt about you," he told her.
