Marini found the breeze really strange, but something inside her told her to get up and follow it. She looked at Gakuru, "I'll... be right back..." the young adult looked at her with a confused expression for a moment but then nodded. Dakari meanwhile got angry at the lion's comments, "And why is that?"

The lion laughed, "You wanna know why? Because you fell in love with not only a blind lioness but a very ugly one." Mzuri immediately put her head down in the ground. "Of course Fadhili wasn't...hmm..." He laughed and said, "You wanna know what else is pathetic? Your lame pick-up lines."

All Dakari did was gently place a paw around Mzuri's shoulder.

The lion laughed, "I bet Mufalfa gave you those lame pick-up lines."

Dakari for some reason grew angry as the lion mentioned Mufalfa's name. "Be quiet! He was ten times better than what you'll ever be!"

The lion laughed, "Defending that old brute boy! You can share his punishment if you'd like!" He roared at Dakari. He then said, "Please tell me about those lame pick-up lines?"

Dakari frowned, "No." He was not going to just sit there and mock the lion who was the closest thing he ever had to a father. "Why can't you just let us go? We've done nothing to you."

Gakuru meanwhile stayed back and watched the two cubs. He couldn't help but smile as he saw them crawling around with their eyes closed. At some point they were crawling away from eachother and away from the pride's staying place, "Oh no no no." he said as he went over to the two cubs, grabbed them in his mouth and placed them back where their mother had left them. The two cubs began to cry once they felt that they were being touched by someone who wasn't their mother. It caused Gakuru's heart to melt, "Oh, don't cry." he said as he slowly placed his paw on top of them, "I'm really sorry..." at some point the cubs stopped crying. (( I just had to. Sorry, too cute =o ))

The lion laughed and said, "Because I enjoy your misery. As for Mufalfa he is nothing. I will make sure his name will never be talked about. I will make sure he fades from existence where everyone will forget him."

Dakari snorted, "You need a hobby."

The lion immediately hit him across the face. "Hobby? Hmm I think torture could be one." He smiled evily as the pride started to gather around Mzuri.
