Dakari managed a weak smile at her, "Please Mzuri, don't cry..." he again coughed.

Fadhili continued to lie there with her eyes closed, "Just another boring morning."

Gakuru continued running untill he noticed what seemed to be a den. He could hear cheering and talking in the distance, but it had been too long since he had seen his father in order to recognize his voice. He advanced on the cave.

Mzuri couldn't stop and said, "I hate my father! We should be together!"

Kujasiri nodded and said, "Are you feeling okay?"

Suddenly Mzuri's father saw a male come closer and roared at him. "Who is this scrawny little twerp!" He laughed and said, "It looks like Dakari has a twin here!" The whole pride laughed at his jokes.

Fadhili let out an annoyed sigh, "Yes."

Gakuru saw the inside of the cave. He didn't have enough time to recognize Mzuri and Dakari, but he did notice the purple flowers on the floor. All he did was throw the flowers towards the two lions who were inside before looking around at the lion. (( Dakari is black-maned, Gakuru is red-maned. He's Mzuri's brother not Dakari's. )) The moment he recognised his father he froze.

Dakari sighed before suddenly something was thrown at his head. However he was too weak in order to look at what it was, "Did anyone throw something at me or is this a side-effect?" he asked with another cough.

Kujasiri stopped talking at once.

(He was just making a joke. It was not meant to be taken literally. Basically he was saying that they were both pathetic.)

Mzuri's father didn't recognize him. "Hey fool! You disgust me by your lack of attention to my jokes!" He then noticed that he was near the cave Dakari was in. He roared, "Get away from there you pompous, disgusting male!"

Mzuri said, "Someone threw some flowers."

Gakuru growled, and after a short moment of hesitation he smacked his father on the shoulder quite weakly, but the lion soon collapsed to the ground. "You taught me that move." he took advantage of the fact that the lion would not be able to use his shoulder for a few minutes and looked his father straight in the eye, his growl dangerously low.

Dakari snorted, feeling dizzy, "What flowers?"

Fadhili said, "These." She brought them up to his snout.

Mzuri's father said, "I taught you what?" Suddenly he came to a realization. "Hahaha do you want to know how you were born? I forced your mother..." He laughed. He then said, "However I will let you live son. We can be a family again. Did I tell you that you had a sister? Did I tell you that I need your help against a pride wanting to kill us all?"

Dakari wanted to protest but the flowers were already right by his muzzle. "Mzuri, don't smell these... It's probably poison. I bet your father threw those..." since he had to breath and at the same time sniffed it he was beginning to slowly heal. However he wasn't feeling like it yet.

Gakuru smacked his father on the other shoulder to buy himself some more time. "I might help you..." he didn't have any intention on doing so, "Only if you tell me something... Where is my mother?" if there was one thing he regretted about running away was living his mother behind with his cruel father. He would find her first and then worry about his newly-discovered sister.

Mzuri obeyed and said, "What if someone threw you the cure?! What if you would only have to smell those flowers and your pain would go away! Please Dakari!" She again started to sob afraid of the only lion she ever loved dying in front of her eyes.

Mzuri's father laughed. "I'll tell you about your sister first. I saw your face with Mufalfa. Perhaps Mzuri rings a bell. She is your sister." He then said, "Your mother is over there with the rest of the pride but she will stay with me as she loves me too much." He laughed and then said, "Hopefully you are not pathetic like before...son." He tried to get up but failed.

Dakari let out a sigh, "They're right by my muzzle. I have no choice but to smell them..." He started gaining some hope because it wasn't making him feel any worse, which was probably a good sign. "When your father gave you the cure, that flower... Did it look like these flowers?"

Gakuru growled as his father tried to get up, "I used to spend hours trying to do stuff that were impossible, remember?" He still held a grudge against his father. "What's wierd to me is that you're laughing even when it's the other way around." he then moved through the pride members and looked for his mother, he knew that his father wont be able to get up for at least a few more minutes.

Mzuri cursed as she didn't even pay attention to what they looked like. "I can't remember! I'm sorry Dakari!" She then said, "I think they'll make you better. The male who dropped them didn't look like my father but it was far away so I couldn't tell."

Suddenly Mzuri's father yelled out, "My pride that lion is one of Dakari's pride members! He was sent here to kill us! Go ahead and slaughter him!"
