Well..He was still sort of brave then. Friends compliment each other all the time.

I guess their attraction to each other as adults was similar to how siblings, and sometimes friends, who meet after a long period of time tend to gain sexual attraction to each other.

Or possibly it was because of how different they seemed that they didn't think of each other as the same cubs they were..Or they were two horny love struck barely adult lions.

Well, I'd say that they thought about it not long before Zazu's little "announcement", and then they thought "Nah, nothing but good old friends really"... but maybe they were just kidding themselves? And afterwards they panicked and overreacted with the whole "Ewww, That'd be so weird" thing. So yeah, that's my theory

Yes. Its just like this girl in my class, she swore for years that she hated this really annoying guy in my class...then I started suspecting he liked her...then she admitted she liked him infront of me...but then when asked about it, both of them say "ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!". Its just lol.

I really wish that is the case. But as someone here pointed out, if either one of them had a crush on the other, per say Simba on Nala, it would be very hard for him to spend much time with her and having to pretend she`s only his friend. It would be really awkward for him.

I`m simply not sure about this subject. Love is never easy.

I think that no. They were too small to feel that kind of love... It's like you don't a 7-year old boy fall in love with a girl. That's just my opinion
