What was atop of Pride Rock?

Maybe it was the ghost of Kopa, hiding there D:
just kidding :p I think he was looking at the top of the rock, remembering himself as a cub (remember the scene in TLK when cub Simba stood there, beeing all happy, just before he woke his father up?)
Also, Pride Rock is like the throne for the lions. I think Simba's confused that his doughter doesn't like it to become queen, since he just couldn't wait to be king beeing a cub.

There is nothing there, it is just regular Pride Rock and it is their home so he is empathising this to his daughter.
