I believe that it's a special event reserved only for the cubs of the royal family however, if, like in the case of Mufasa and Taka, where there's two cubs of the same gender, I believe that both would still be presented, seeing as they still are the offspring of the royal couple so there for, they still demand just as much respect even if one of them isn't going to be a king or queen. Much like Kopa23 stated, this also would help, just in case something does happen to the current future king or queen. I'd like to see Rafiki try and lift a fully grown lion like that if he had to do one of those ceramonies for an adult lion if that be the case. ^^

Hmmm good question! Im guessing that say Simba was born in a litter of 4 (pretend) and simba was chosen as next heir, and gets represented and i think the mark that rafiki makes is a symbol of royalty, anyway after simba his brothers and sisters get represented to show that they are the future kings siblings. Thats my theorie.

Nope. It just wouldn't make any sense. He wasn't the heir, he wasn't important. Why would they present him?

Yup. Scar just wasn't the heir. If he was, then thats a different story. Mufasa got presentated cause he was older.

I think it's only the heirs of the throne who are presented, it wouldn't make sense to present all the newborns cubs.
