Gakuru said, "Uh... I don't think that you have to push them that far." Everybody kepy pretending in order to keep Marini safe and said nothing. Fadhili however managed to hear a bit of what Gakuru said, and once it confirmed that he was a nice lion an idea came to her head. However she didn't say anything and just laid down.

The adolescent male said, "Very well. But remember if you pick a side you better be on the winning side or something horrible could happen to you!" He said, "Remember if you feel bad about any of this and start 'spilling the beans' I shall tell them you are just as responsible. I shall tell the cubs when they are born of how you helped me murder their father."

Gakuru growled at him, "Don't threaten me, I did not kill him, you did. Don't underestimate me." he knew that if it actually went to a fight, that he'd probably win, but he didn't feel like it had to go that far.

The adolescent beared his teeth back. "Don't you underestimate me! I have gotten away from death more times than you can count by my brilliant head. As for murder if you hadn't distracted him he wouldn't be dead."

Gakuru figured that he should keep his unusual strength a secret, just in case. "Whatever." he said and lay down by the others. He hated his father for everything he had done, no matter how much it was working to his benefit now.

The adolescent figured that the other one would spill the beans eventually but by then he would have his body banged up at the bottom of a cliff. He laughed at that. He went over to Fadhili and whispered, "I want you to know the adolescent male helped me kill your brother."

Fadhili raised an eyebrow, "My father?" she asked, confused, "My father's long dead." she then got up, "I'm going to hunt."

The adolescent quickly whispered, "I meant your brother Mufalfa. He helped me kill him." The adolescent then looked at the blind cub. "You go with Fadhili."

Fadhili looked at him, "She's blind, she can't help." she then said, "Marini's pregnant and can't help either. It's either you help me or..." she pointed at Gakuru, "He, whatever his name is."

The adolescent said, "I don't care if she's blind. If she dies on this hunt it'll be survival of the fittest." He laughed and said, "Or I can just kill her now..."
