Dakari sighed and looked at her, "Is it that important for you to know?"

Mzuri just sighed and said, "Nevermind. I apologize."

Dakari then said, "I'm sorry... It's just that I really don't like to talk about it."

Mzuri said, "I feel the same way as well."

Suddenly Dakari became interested about Mzuri's past, but he knew that she telling him while he kept his past to himself would not be fair. "Well... it doesn't matter not. I mean... we have eachother."

Mzuri for some reason wanted to tell her enitre story to Dakari. "Yes. Thank you." She paused and said, "I was born to a mother and father. While my mother loved me my father laughed at trying to kill me."

Dakari soon realised that this was the beginning of a hard story, "Mzuri you don't have to tell me."

Mzuri said to him, "Yes I do. It has been bottled up inside. But if you don't want to hear it I won't tell you."

Dakari quickly said, "No, no! That's not what I meant." he said as he walked over to her side, "I'm always here if you want to talk... I just wanted to make sure that you weren't telling me this just for me to know, because I don't want to force you." he then sighed, "You can continue if you want to."

Mzuri nodded and said, "You are not forcing me Dakari." Mzuri said, "I was eventually pryed from my mother's arms and was alone for quite a while until I met you Dakari and this pride." She paused and said, "This pride is the closest thing I have ever had to a family."
