Luckily for Dakari he closed his eye before the claw went right through it. Marini then noticed that the adolescents were heasitating. Why didn't just kill them already? All they did was just say that they were going to do it. She ignored the cub's yelling and crying.

The adolescents still sighed as they refused to give the boss over. "Okay we'll make him watch his lioness cub friend suffer." They started scratching her on her back. 'Hand him over!"

Marini continued to lie still. However she didn't know whether she would be able to just sit back for alot longer. Dakari's anger started boiling as one of the two adolescents who were there scratched Mzuri and the other one made him watch.

The adolescents laughed at Dakari. "You see twerpette you better beg the adults to hand over the boss or we'll make you watch seeing the only one you really care about in this world die." They scratched her again. "Now about the boss!"

Dakari then completely lost it. He took his teeth and dug it straight into the paw of the adolescent that was holding him. Marini notied the oppertunity and pounced at the second one who was holding Mzuri. She freed Mzuri and then stricked the one that was holding Dakari right on the jaw and then freeing Dakari as well. She literally grabbed the two cubs and threw them towards Mufalfa and Fadhili.

The adolescents cursed and then ran away, knowing another oppertunity would present itself soon enough.

Most cubs would be horrified after what had happened, but Dakari was too angry at them to even feel scared. They hurt Mzuri, and that meant that they crossed the line. The first thing he did was walk over to her and pull her into a hug, "Are you alright?"

Mzuri wasn't crying. "Yeah I'm fine Dakari." Those sratched felt like knives sticking out of your skin but she tried to ignore it. "Are you alright?" She then saw the scar around his eye. "Does it hurt?"

Dakari only then remembered the scratch across his eye. He brought his paw over and gently touched it, before letting out a sigh, "It's nothing." he hoped it wouldn't scar.

Mzuri smiled and licked him. "I think it makes you look more handsome." Mufalfa looked at Marini. "At least we still have him to torture." He looked at the adolescent male.
