Well, knowing Simba, he probably told Kiara everything there was to know about Mufasa, since we know how much Simba loves to dwell on the past. lol, so I think Kiara might have had a good notion of just who Mufasa was and I'm sure Simba wasn't the only one who talked about him to her. ^^
