I like Kovu as an adult with his scar. It doesn't ruin his look at all. It actually completes the emsemble.

As well as finally giving his name proper credence, since it means "scar" in Swahili. It just didn't really fit without it.

Agreed, his scar completes the look that I think Disney was aiming for the whole movie.

I think I like him better as a cub though too, he just seems to have a bit more attitude, but I guess training to be a murder would change anyones personality

I see nothing good about having attitude. It's kinda the same way I see Cub Simba as. What is good about him? He's cute, next... The matured adult lions are truly amazing. Having the chance to learn from their mistakes and make a better future.

I don't dislike the cubs, in-fact, I like them a lot. But it's the truth. Kovu's attitude as a cub doesn't make him better than his awesomeness as an adult.

Yeah.

I favor cub Kovu but adult Kovu is the fan's favorite. Adult Kovu does do alot more and is in the movie more. The scar completes him, reminding him that he will never be free of his father's past. I do wish that the animators for TLKSP would have been better. Then Kovu would have looked even cooler
But if Scar wasn't his father, than why does Kovu look so much like him?

If you look closely, Kovu isn;t very similar to Scar at all. His colours aren't even red/brown and black like Scar, he is chocolate and dark brown/black. Scars eyes are emrald, Kovu's are more aquamarine. Scar is lanky, Kovu is built. Scar has a long thin face, Kovu's is rounded.
I believe Kovu was named after Scar (ie Kovu means Scar in swahili) because Zira saw how he looked similar to Scar.
If the movie says he isn't Scar's son, he isn't Scar's son.

I am in complete agreement, Kovu is not Scar's son, nor does he look a lot like Scar. Sure, he has the same basic color scheme, but Kovu is a richer color and his mane is dark brown, not black. His eyes are a darker green than Scar's and he is much more heavily built. Also, he never actually comes up with a scheme. Zira is the one who twists his attempts at friendship into a plot. Kovu is a lot deeper than people credit him for, but he isn't a villain.
