Dakari then grew even more nervous, "Oh... because I, uh... well..." he then finally said it, "I like you Mzuri... alot."

Mzuri then said, "Uh...like me as in?" She wasn't sure if she wanted Dakari to like her THAT way yet. Mufalfa started laughing behind them.

Dakari's ears flattened against his head as he heard Mufalfa's laughing behind them. It made him realise just how pathetic he must have looked at that moment. He just shook his head, "Never mind, forget what I just said." he started walking away before she could start laughing too.

"Dakari wait!" She walked in front of him to stop him from leaving. "Why are you going?" Mufalfa stepped out and said, "Here is the bottom line kid," he looked at Mzuri, "Dakari wants to smooch ya and be with you for the rest of his life, and be your mate, yadda, yadda, yadda." Mufalfa started laughing again.

Dakari quickly shook his head, "No! I mean... It's too quick, I... Just wanted to let you know..." Mufalfa was saying it in a way that might get Mzuri mad at him.

Mufalfa laughed. "Oh don't back down Dakari. Be a lion and make the moves. Did you not tell me that you wanted to kiss her until her face turned red?" Mzuri just had her mouth open.

Dakari again shook his head, "That's not what I said!" he was getting really, really nervous. "I just wanted to see whether you uh... like me too..."

Mzuri just walked away. Mufalfa said, "Tough customer. Ususally lionesses like you to be very verbose about your feelings." He then said to Dakari, "I'll help you."

Dakari actually frowned at Mufalfa after Mzuri left, "Help me? You've only made it worse." he just had to open his mouth and speak like that did he?

Mufalfa said, "Don't want my help? Fine. You can try to solve your little friendship crisis by yourself. Good luck with that."
