"Well Done My Son"

When Mufasa said that to Simba, he was proud of his son for remembering what he taught Kiara and using "We Are One" for making the right decision to allow the Outsiders join the Pridelanders as one whole pride together. The peace was restored after all those years.

Agreed with SM. Besides, I wouldn't like it if Mufasa said "Well done" to Kiara and not to Simba. I like how he only speaks with Rafiki and Simba.

As none of the SP generation characters ever saw Mufasa, it would seem awckward that they could communicate with him, for this reason, the fact that Mufasa said "Well Done My Son" is rational.

I think Mufasa's point was that Simba did the right thing when he realized what the right thing to do would be. It was of course essential how Simba came to realize it but just as essential is that he did it. He, Simba, was in the most crucial part of the events. He could've just held on to his mistrust and hate, but he didn't because he was his father's son in the deepest. That's why Mufasa praised him saying "Well done, my son."

Of course Kiara would've deserved credit too and Kovu, but Mufasa wasn't the one who needed to give them that. That would have to be Simba and I'd like to think he gave them that at some point. (:
The connection between Mufasa and Simba is special. Besides, it seems to me that Simba finally figures out that the senseless separation of the Pride must end. This took a Romeo and Juliet style romance and the interferance of Rafiki to accomplish. So, oh well. :?
I think Mufasa was voicing approval of the fact that Simba chose to unite the Pridelanders and Outlanders.
