What do you look for in a guy/girl?

I'm very stuck in my ways as far as men go, but I love to hear what others like!



Personally, I loooove Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Thai etc) guys, who have very feminine features.

More than anything I tend to look for someone who is considerate, not afraid to laugh (especially at themselves), and brings out my better side. If I've learned anything, what's on the outside becomes irrelevant a week into any serious relationship. What's on the inside determines if you're compatible. And a kind, funny, compassionate girl is the kind that attracts me! ^^

Agreed! However, I must say I am rather shallow in relationships Maybe this is the reason for so many failed relationships XD

However! I think I have found a guy who fits my looks criteria AND is a nice guy! Here's hoping!

As far as looks go, I'm quite open to anyone really. I tend to migrate toward taller guys with brown hair and blue eyes, but I wouldn't care if a guy that approached me looked completely the opposite. As Azdgari said, I'm more interested in what they're like on the inside. (well unless they were REALLY creepy on the outside...like they were 30 year old weirdos that didn't shower... )

Things I look for in a guy (Yes, they are seperated into catagories, lol):

Appearances:

1) Tall

2) (Preferably) Brown-Haired

3) Lean


Personality:

1) Sweet

2) Understanding

3) Loyal

4) Funny

5) Romantic <3


Other things:

1) I'd like him to be very poetic and quote romantic poems daily to me. <3

2) Listens to me and understands how I feel. (Or at least try to)

3) Kind and caring to others.

Naw for me it is a good mix of personality and looks, more so personality though, I mean yes I understand that it should be someone you get along with and all, but there needs to be some degree of attraction as well I think! I would say my taste in girls is very common, in terms of actresses it would be the obvious choices like Jennifer Ellison for instance.Oh and Emma Watson; proving that us Brits do in fact have hawt accents :). And that the relationships I have been in, the girl has always had blonde hair which is about ...4 of them? Oh and one other who was a brunette actually.

So moving onto the next point then; what does my current girlfriend look like you ask? Well I shall not post a picture of her on here but alas; Blonde hair, blue eyes, tanned skin, slim, about the same height as me although looks taller because in most pictures of us she is wearing heels or boots, and has both her ears and nose pierced. We have been going out for 4 years now (I believe I told the story of how we met in high school before) and I could not be happier with my relationship... I am pretty sure that she is one of the only people who does not judge me IRL, even knows full well about my TLK obsession and has an account on this very site herself as it so happens. Oh oh and I agree with Annie; they MUST be able to accept me and what I like, if they can not respect that then I doubt they respect me as an individual.
