It was actually something my mother taught me. Many lions retract them because it dulls them down. I found out the benefits of having extended claws all the time such as more grip in a chase. As long as you sharpen them every day, they don't get dull. In fact, they get sharper.

When you were king, did you get any dreams about your brother?

Yes, I did. Even in death my brother found ways to annoy me.

So you said your brother broke a promise he couldn't break. What was this promise, if you don't mind me asking.

TS - My brother was always full of himself. He always had to be the best. No matter what. He tried proving that every day of his life.

Miko - Mufasa promised that I could be king. When he broke that promise, the faith I had in my family dwindled and died. I don't mind answering these questions. I've had some time to think - ever since I became the star that never rises above the horizon.

What's your opinion of Kovu being soft in the end?

I was very disappointed in the newer generation. Personally, I think Zira pushed them too hard and they ended up making their own decisions. It's too bad. That's how things go, though.
