Marini looked at him, "Then who are you doing it for? I know you don't like him but your sister does." Fadhili then pulled away from the lion, "You said you'd leave him alone if I came with you!" she yelled, growling dangerously at him.

The adolescent lion laughed. "I lied." He then whistled to his two friends. "Keep her busy. I'll kill her boyfriend." He laughed. Kujasiri said, "Your friends failed." The lion said, "Then I will finish the job you dork." The other adolescent female laughed at Fadhili. "Your boyfriend is so dead..the dork he was."

Fadhili wanted to help Kujasiri, but the other two adolescents were blocking her path. All she could do was hope.

Soon the adolescent bit Kujasiri in the neck and waited until no life breathed from him. He laughed. "He's dead."

Fadhili was shocked. She pushed the lion's friends aside and rushed over to Kujasiri, "No!" she nudged him hoping he would wake up/

Kujasiri made no signs of life. The lion just laughed. "Now you are going to have to stay with me and be my girlfriend." He continued laughing.

Fadhili, out of anger and frustration, went right up to him and slashed him across the face. She then ran away, as fast as she could and hid where no one could find her

The lion cursed and said to his friends, "Hide his body." The friends dumped the body somewhere where no one would find it. The friends came back and he said, "We'll find the lioness later. We'll tell the adults that he ran away." He then said, "If she beats us back and tells everyone then we'll kill the cubs. If she strikes me again we'll kill the cubs."

Fadhili couldn't even consider going back and telling everybody. Who was she going to turn to for comfort, her brother? He never even like Kujasiri. Little that matter now, he was dead and she would never see him again. She just lay in her hidden spot and cried.

The lion came back to both Marini and Mufalfa. "I regret to inform you ma'am that your brother has ran away. He said that he couldn't bear losing Fadhili to someone else. He is long gone by now." Mufalfa's mouth dropped. Kujasiri ran away? Why?
