I thought I'd get a thread of my own and post up all my pics ^.^ Without further ado here they are, in order drawn:

This was the first time I seriously drew a picture in about ten years, and I'm really pleased with how it came out =) From the scene where Simba's on the time-log of Hakuna Matata

I got around to doing a pic of Kovu and here it is :] This is from the scene where Simba finally accepts Kovu into the pride. I don't think it's my best so far, but I still like it =D. I wish I could have found a better pose of Kovu, this one didn't feel right for some reason.

Thank you for drawing my cubby Simba! Hehe ^^ I love them all! You're so good! I am yet to soon post up my real drawings! What do you color these with?

EDIT: And when you start drawing, what part do you usually start out with? I start with the eyebrows. I wanna know a bit more how you do these wonderful drawings.

lol! I just noticed I forgot to put whiskers on Kovu =0 maybe I'll fix that...

Usually VS I start with the top of their head (unless they have a mane, then I just start with the line that divides their head from mane) then I go down both sides of the face until the lines meet in the middle. Then usually comes the nose and mouth, then the eyes, and the mane last.

Ah I see, what do you use to color them? Colored Pencils? And the Kovu one I don't think he has whiskers in the scene. lol

he does, but they're very faint lol, here's the scene I took it from.



And to answer your question, yes I use pencil crayons :] Well first I draw and erase with a pencil untill Im happy with the outlines, then I go over it with a black pencil crayon and color it in. The only problem is that there's not a huge variety of browns and lion-fur-colors to choose from so I tend to blend them together as you've probably noticed. =D
