Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron

Hi! Welcome to the Feedback forum.
Before reading anything or asking anything; please check out the FAQs. Your question might be in there. However if you want a better understanding after reading the FAQs, like if it didn't explain it good enough, then by all means ask your question.

Please read the following before posting in this forum...

In this forum you will see an Announcement, and several "sticky" topics. The announcement is the Universal Board Rules. If you are new, read this before doing anything else! The sticky topics will stay above and separated from normal user-made topics in the forum. This is because they outline important information about the board. If you see a sticky topic concerning your issue, please reply with your question or concern in the correct topic. Moderators will see your reply within these topics. Before asking your question, be sure to read the topic and its first page especially. It contains information about your issue that is valuable and may even answer your questions. If the topic does not answer your question, ask your question within the topic, not the forum. If no sticky topic concerns your issue, then you are welcome to ask your own questions by creating a new topic within the forum.

Thank you for keeping the Board Help forum organized!

Uhh Annie, http://www.running-free.net is available. I think I'll snag it and maybe start something. Would a forum be best? I think it would certainly be easiest. As for fan art, deviantArt trumps anything I could ever make...so artists could just link there? O.o

Other domains available:
http://www.spiritfans.net

I can't really think of any more. It's a tough movie to come up with domains for.

I feel your pain... I went looking for a Spirit fan-site too and found absolutely nothing. I only found one Spirit site and it hadn't been updated since about 2004, if I remember right...

It'd be awesome if one existed. :]
And for the record, running-free.net sounds much better than spiritfans.net in my opinion but on the other hand, do domain names make much of a difference when searching for sites?
If they do, spiritfans.net would likely stick out more as "this is a spirit fan site".

UK - I went over that argument in my head as well. You're completely right about search engines preferring more obvious domain names. But Running Free is what I went with because it's an actual name that people will appreciate and remember. Not to mention it was said in the movie, itself.
Mike - No pressure :] We've already started on the forums. Oh, and when I say "we" I mean Annie and I. We will be the admins of Running Free. :)

The site will be sort of like MLK, just smaller and less complex. It will have forums (same software as MLKF). You will need to re-register at RF because I don't know how to link forums across domains. It's probably better this way anyway so people can choose different sigs and avatars, etc. It will have a screengrab gallery (I already have all the screengrabs ^^).

Wow, that's so cool! I'll definitely join, but I don't know about submitting fanart. I'm not that good at drawing horses... :ehh2:

And I don't think I'll be making another fan art gallery :P I think deviantArt will suffice :)

Haha, gosh that was a long time ago. I was working on this for a while but it never took off. I blame myself, not Annie. :D I'll consider this because I think I'll be getting some more free time this semester. What do you think Annie? Still up for this?

I signed that petition, by the way. #466 :)
