Marini was kind of surprised that the strong, bad Mufalfa was suddenly nervous when it came to the real thing. However she didn't think about it for too long and began going through the forest with him. She obviously wanted to find a spot which was quiet and where no one could just 'run into them' randomly. Dakari slowly nodded, "Yeah... But he wasn't mean to me at all actually." he then became a little nervous as she knew what Mzuri was talking about, "Oh, that..." Fali smiled and nodded at him, "Of course. You don't need my premission to go somewhere."

Mufalfa looked at Marini and said, "What is going to happen? I sure don't know." Obviously he was referring to why they were walking away from everyone. He looked at Marini as she finally found a spot and put his nervousness aside. He licked Marini on her neck and nipped at one of her ears. Mzuri was surprised that Mufalfa was actually nice to Dakari. "Oh wow that is surprising." She laughed as Dakari became nervous. 'Why are you so nervous? I was speaking of him saying that he is our father now and Marini our mother or something to that affect." Kujasiri smiled at Fadhili and said, "Thanks. You're the best."

After a short while the two found a small cave and entered it. Marini smiled as Mufalfa finally put his nervousness aside and she returned his gestures. At some point she lay down at the lions feet. Dakari then managed to get rid of the nervousness as he realised that she wasn't referring to the whole betrothal thing. "Oh. It is kind of strange to think of him as our dad." Fali smiled, "I know I am." she figured he would be back in a while and so she wasn't bothered.

Soon Mufalfa drifted off into sleep. Mzuri nodded and said, "Uh yeah." She then said, "Also he said that we were going to be betrothed..." She was sure Dakari's nervousness would start up again as she said that. Mufalfa woke up and saw Marini laying by him. "Are you feeling alright?" He then said, 'We better get back to everyone." He got up and went out of the cave. Kaujasiri meanwhile tried to get smething to drink.

Marini looked at him rather confused. "Yeah, I waited for you to uh... you know... and then you fell asleep." she got up and followed him outside, a little dissapointed. But she figured that it will probably turn out better next time. Dakari did become nervous at that, "Yeah... betrothed..." he didn't know what to say exactly because he had no idea what was his friend's opinion about it

Mufalfa looked at her and sad, "Don't be sad." He licked her. He then came back to the cubs though he said nothing to them. When Mzuri noticed Mufalfa and Marini were back she moved away from them a little bit. Mzuri then said to Dakari, "Uh is that all you have to say?" Mzuri was curious at what else her friend would say however she then said, "Well don't worry about it. We don't have to worry about 'it' for a long time anyway."

Marini managed to cheer up a bit. She figured that they could try again maybe after everyone fell asleep. Dakari sighed, "I know that there's a lot of time untill that is relevant... I just don't want it to affect our friendship." he said, smiled slightly and hoped that they could just forget it untill they were older.

Mufalfa looked at Marini. 'Well let's not give the cubs any suspicions about 'us.'" Mzuri smiled at him. "Of course not silly." She then gave him a mischevious look. "Let's see if we can scare the adults."

Marini nodded, before asking, "And what about 'us'?" Dakari was more than tempted by Mzuri's idea, but it sounded to him like suicide, "I'm not sure Mufalfa would like that..."

Mufalfa thought, "You know I care about you Marini..." Mzuri laughed, "Come on Dakari. He won't do anything. I am going to do it by myself if you are not."
