"What makes you think he'd succeed any better with a loss of an only son?"
Because he has a daughter, and Nala and Timon & Pumbaa are right by his side, and that it's over now, not to dwell on it.
You dismissed my point that it would have to be in the least in his dreams/nightmares even if at waking moments he could push it aside. A tragic loss like that would not go away just because "it's over". Having your child murdered... And especially if the child's fate was uncertain, it naturally wouldn't be over.

Sometimes I wonder if people who support those Kopa theories, have ever had a close family member disappear or die? Those loved ones are with you every waking moment and especially in your dreams. The pain of the loss, the worry if it's just disappearence, and the joy of good memorie. You don't get over it so completely that you stop dreaming and talking about them. Even if you don't talk about how they died or disappeared, you talk about how they lived. You don't just forget about them just because you have other/new family members. Not even with the rest of the family there for you. On the contrary those who are still with you, inspire you to remember the lost one.

Even Simba says it in the film: "Even those who are gone, are with us as we go on." If Kopa was one of "those who are gone", he would've been mentioned by his family or even shown in Simba's dream.
Anyway, I think that even if Kopa did exist, they would've excluded him from SP because it was supposed to be a story about Kiara and Kovu; Kopa (All 3 of their names start with K?) would've had absolutely no signifigance to the story, and it would've been confusing to the audience. "Who is this strange lion?"
Heh. If they wanted him to exist, they'd just simply write a story where's a place for him to exist. That's the whole point of story writing: you write a story so that everyone you want to include in it, has a place in it. They didn't include Kopa in anyway--they didn't want him to exist. And I don't see where would be the confusion? This whole Kopa religion exists because the TLK cub looks nothing like Kiara. No one would ask "who's that other cub".

Whatever, man. I'm about sick of arguing with you. I still support Kopa as canon. If you don't that's absolutely lovely. This is a kid's movie (SP, anyway...) and Simba isn't going to react as realistically as you describe him as acting. In fact, there's a ton of flaws and incorrect things all over SP. Kopa makes sense. Maybe not 100% perfect sense, but about 95%. The SP film, which is canon, does not make perfect sense. No movie ever truly makes perfect sense. Character's are not going to react exactly as one would expect, like you seem to think Simba will react a precise way about his son's death or disappearence. But like I and many others have said before...

We support Kopa as canon!
Whatever, man. I'm about sick of arguing with you.
Sorry to hear that. But please remember I was only doing what you asked for. You said you're interested in arguments that may prove your theory invalid. Then you argued them and I pointed out you dismissed an essential part of my argiment. You by the way also ignored my arguments with Zira and Timon & Pumbaa.

I'm just curious as for why did you say you'd reconsider if enough arguments are stated to make your theory invalid, if you weren't really ready to reconsider? It seems to me you just ignore those arguments.
This is a kid's movie (SP, anyway...) and Simba isn't going to react as realistically as you describe him as acting.
He did react very realistically to his insecureness about Kiara and Kovu and his trauma with Mufasa and Scaer. I see no reason why he wouldn't react realistically to a loss of a son. Because the point and theme is exactly the same.
The SP film, which is canon, does not make perfect sense.
Actually, not officially canon as the first film's makers had no part in its making whatsoever. SP is canon to me personally though.
In fact, there's a ton of flaws and incorrect things all over SP. Kopa makes sense. Maybe not 100% perfect sense, but about 95%.
I'm starting to believe someone here who said Kopa is a religion to his fans. I mean, someone has now literally said they'd reconsider but in the end they didn't at all.

I didn't reconsider because your 'facts' weren't convincing enough. Silly goose! And I meant I'd reconsider the theory of how Kopa disappeared; not Kopa himself. I don't know why the HELL you're so incredibly defensive of him not being canon. But I digress... have a nice evening SBS.

Not convincing enough... Not even those which you chose to ignore instead of trying to disprove? Again, you asked for arguments to prove your theory invalid. Then you argued them resulting in my right to argue back. You argued again, I argued again. I hardly call this debate of ours as me being especially defensive--I was just answering your challenge. You have now expressed you wish to leave the argument, so I will leave it too.

PS. I have already explained many times why I'm so defensive of Kopa not being canon. I don't feel the need to repeat it because you apparently either aren't reading my posts or don't see my point no matter which way I put it.

I don't get why some people get so touchy about Kopa... He's just a fictional character, he's not going to feel bad if you say you don't like him...

Tell that to SBS :P I'm more fed up with the fact that he thinks his opinion is the only one on MLK that counts as true. Gotta remember, these are fake characters that don't exist in reality! I'm not sure why I kept arguing with this guy for so long... yeesh.

They use the words "I believe" and get so touchy about Kopa getting negative comments and won't see sense and convincingness in anything that contradicts their belief. What does that remind you of?
I'm more fed up with the fact that he thinks his opinion is the only one on MLK that counts as true.
That's because the truth doesn't change. It is true the TLK cub's creators called it Fluffy and didn't give it a gender. It is true that TLK film itself either doesn't say anything about the cub. It is true that SP film doesn't show or mention anyone but Kiara. It is true that Kopa is canon to you personally but it is also true that Kopa is not canon officially. And it is true that fan theories can not be official canon.

I don't just beleive that Kopa is canon. I know that Kopa is canon. And if you ask for proof, I'm not gonna bother SBS, the proof is all around you.
