she used to scare the living daylights out of me! she is a female scar with removed pre maddonna and added evil. think about it she force trains her own kids is fanatical over a dead lion, wants to kill all pridelanders and even suggestion killing vitani!

Zira is my all time favorite Lion King character! She just has an awesome appeal. And her voice actor was PERFECT. Rest in peace, Pleshette...

Zira was a cool character. There were very few lionesses like her, you get used to the Pridelanders, who all seem pretty much the same. You'd be able to spot Zira easily if there was a 'WHERE'S SIMBA' Book, other than 'WHERE'S WALLY' Because Zira is completely different to all the other lionesses. Granted, she looks a bit like Scar with he face shape etc, but she is an epic character.

I still prefer Scar as a villain, but I cannot deny Zira's insanity. She's far crazier than Scar ever was, and she was certainly a better military leader. I still prefer Scar, but Zira is a very good villainess. I approve.

I like Zira's because she was willing to slaughter her own children to get revenge. Not only that, in the original film she commits suicide instead of "stooping to Simba's level" whereas Scar seemed a bit cowardly. But both are great villains, alonside Frollo, Steele, and all the other great animated villains lol!

I definatly prefer Scar to Zira, after all, if there was no Scar there would be no Zira, because she wouldn't have went mad because she wanted revenge x3
