She pretty much always looks cute, but here she looks kinda stuck up.

I think this sequence is pretty interesting regarding the "was there something between them as cubs"? When they start walking up towards the camera, Simba is looking at Nala while Nala looks straight ahead. She turns her head and starts looking at him, then Simba turns his head and looks forward.

Call me a fool, but I`ve seen enough romantic movies to know that could be called a "she mustn`t see that I`m staring" moment. I wouldn`t say that Simba is staring at her longingly, but he looks very fond of her.
