The Lion King: Before Mufasa's Pride [Private]

After some consideration and discussion, Zorayda and I decided that we'd like to do an RP together. We both tossed in some ideas and the outcome was this; The Lion King: Before Mufasa's Pride. Basically, the prequel to the Lion King.

The opening scene begins with Mufasa and Taka waking up earlier than their parents. They anxiously await the big surprise that Ahadi promised them yesterday. The sun is just about to rise when the two cubs grow impatient with their hibernating father. What could he want to show them? Taka wants to wake their father up right now, but Mufasa tells him to be patient a little longer.

Enter the beginning of the Lion King: Before Mufasa's Pride!

Here's my character for the RP. I'm ready to start whenever you are! *huggles*

Name: Aiko (light)

Species: lion

Gender: male

Age: Varies for each RP. For TLK: Before Mufasa's Pride, he is approximately five months old.

Appearance: Aiko is an albino. He is completely white all over, with light pink paw pads and a light pink nose. His tail tuft and mane are all snowy white (minus the slight natural discolorations here and there). His eyes are sky blue and very striking against his face. His ears are larger than most other lions and they stick out of his mane much like Scar's do. His mane is very long and flowy, with fringe that falls into his eyes a lot of the time, giving him a bit of a rakish look. He's fairly large in size. His bottom jaw is rounded and comes to a sort of a point, a bit like Nala's chin.

Personality: Soft and kind at heart, but extremely mischievous. Aiko is talkative and warm towards everyone, but he's also proud and easily offended. He's a little bit vain--he loves his white fur and the sound of his own voice. He's the first to get into trouble and the last to admit to it. In TLK: Before Mufasa's Pride, he's best friends with Kati and Sarafina. Taka, Mufasa, and Sarabi are all his friends, too, but he gets along particularly well with Kati and Sarafina.

History: Born into the Pridelands via one of the lionesses and a male from the outside, Aiko has had the luxury of a caring pride and a great mother. Though he never got to know his father, Aiko has had a fairly good life. As he gets older, he realizes that he wants to live on his own, and perhaps start a new pride. He feels that his calling is to either be a rogue or to be a leader, and since the Pridelands cannot foster either need, he must leave.

Hey, Simby... sorry to tell you this, but I may be on hiatus with this for a while--a long while. You're welcome to call other players in or something, because I'm incredibly busy (and I've been ill). I have a zillion RPs I'm involved in that I have to pull out of and I'm just far too busy to put the love and care this RP deserves into it. Sorry D: Perhaps at a later date I'll be able to continue or to join in another RP of your choice with you. *hugs*

Oh Zorry, you're too nice. I imagine that you've been very busy, but that's no reason for me to find another person to take over your spot. I can't think of anyone who could possibly be as good as you were. And I'd love to continue this RP later on when you aren't busy. I don't care how long it takes, your personal life takes priority over a silly RP any day. No worries, please keep me posted on how you're doing, and when you're ready (if you're going to be ready) just let me know and I'll boot up the RP again. Thanks for letting me know. *hugs*
