Two cubs, two adolescents and two adults meet up and start a pride.

Fadhili was prancing back and forth and around her brother for qutie a while now. They were both looking for something to hunt for quite a while now. "Mufalfa," the brown-furred adolescent wined, "I'm hungry." she then felt like she had to state a fact, "The only thing you think about is girls." she said with a slight giggle. They were eachother's only familly for quite a long time now.

Marini, who had also been with nobody but her brother for a long time, was currently hiding in the tall grass and waiting for an oppertunity to get a good pounce at one of the zebras.

Dakari was with his friend Mzuri, "We have to find something to eat." he said, his stomach growling. The two of them got lost and seperated from their pride almost three days ago, and three days without eating was certainly alot.

Mufalfa looked at his sister. "Fadhili do me a favor and be quiet will ya? As for girls that is your imagination. The only thing I think about is power." He looked around at the barren wasteland. "You are the one hungry, not me. Go get yourself something." He started to walk ahead and hoped his sister would not follow him. She was an annoyance.

Kujasiri kept wandering on his own as well. He saw the world as nothing but pain and suffering. He then noticed some kind of rustling in the grass and checked it out. "Hello?"

Mzuri nodded. She was hungry as well but she said, "We'll die of thirst before we die of hunger." She then suddenly felt a need to play. She looked at Dakari. "What is that over there?"

Fadhili then fell quiet, since that was usually the point of their conversation in which she told him that she needed him to teach him how to hunt, and then he got angry, and they started arguing as always. So she decided to save her the arguing and yelling this time and silently followed him.

Marini was a little more than surprised at her brother's question, "It's not a popular thing." she then trailed off into what might sound like nonsense to her brother, "A mate has to be someone you love more than anything, it can't just be anyone you see." she then explained something else to him, "Sometimes two become mates when they don't have a choice, but it usually happens if they can't find themselves a pride or someone else to be with." She then also remembered that she and her brother had been off on their own for a long time now, without managing to find a proper place to stay or even coming across another lion.

Upon hearing his friend, the first thing that came to Dakari's mind was that maybe she had found food or water, "Where?" he asked excitedly, looking around and paying no attention to what she was probably about to do.

Mufalfa looked at Fadhili and said, "What? Are you still following me? Then don't complain about food. Hunger is good for you." He then started to look around. "I wonder where we are."

Kujasiri was still confused about his feelings and what the proper etiquette was so he said, "So that means we couldn't be mates right?" He then changed the subject. "So...are we supposed to look around for food or something?" He looked at his mane. It was very short and any male lion could make short work of him. "As you can see I am fair game out here to any male who would want to kill me." He started looking around at the barren landscape. "What a desolate place this is." He looked at his sister. "Uh can you tell me exactly what male lions are supposed to do in a pride? I mean what are their responsiblities?" He was still confused at what exactly male lions do.

Mzuri laughed, knowing the trap had been spring. Once Dakari's back was turned she pounced on top of him and yelled, "Here!" She laughed, "You are so gullible Dakari!"

Fadhili shook her head and said, "I don't know." she hated admitting it, but she was losing hope of ever finding others to live with.

Marini shook her head, "As long as there's a male and a female, then mating is a possibility, familly members or not. But don't you be getting any ideas, I'm sure we'll find a group of lions soon." she then looked at him and said ressuringly, "Why would someone want to kill you? I don't think there's anyone who's this cruel." she shrugged at his last question, "It depends, actually... Males are usually bigger than lionesses and in most cases stronger. Usually it's only the lionesses who do the hunting, the males are more in the part of defending the pride."

Upon feeling Mzuli on his back, Dakari figured what she was talking about, "Mzuli! But this is serious!" he moaned, and then failed to get up.

Mufalfa nodded. "Yeah we are lost." He looked around for anyone to help them.

Kujasiri nodded at his sister's answers. He was beginning to understand what was proper. He looked at Marini. "Male lions kill other male lions all of the time." He then listened to her answer about what male lions do. "Oh okay I see." He began to look around for a while and then looked back at his sister. "So what now?" He knew that they were lost and that no help was available. They were pretty much doomed in fact. He looked back at his sister. "Are we going to die?" He looked back at his sister. "I mean are we doomed?"

Mzuri groaned. "Oh excuse me for trying to have some fun." She looked around and saw nothing. She shook her head at Dakari.

Fadhili then said, "There's got to be other lions around here somewhere. We just need to continue looking."

Marini hurried to deny what her brother was thinking, "We're not doomed. Just give me a minute so I can get that zebra."

Dakari tried to get up once more, but failed because of his friend's weight. "I'll get you for all of those times one day." he said, trying once more to stand up.

Mufalfa looked at Fadhili. "No girl stuff right?"

Kujasiri nodded and fell silent waiting for his sister to hunt.

Mzuri laughed at Dakari and said, "That'll be the day. You have never beaten me so far." She then kept looking around. "Can you eat lizards?"

Fadhili looked at her brother confused, "What do you mean?"

Marini then noticed a rather old and sick Zebra. Taking it down was alot easier than she had anticipated. "Are you hungry?" she asked, calling for her brother.

Dakari eyed his friend, "I will someday." he tried once again to stand, "Do I have a choice but to eat lizzards?"

Mufalfa shook his head. "Nevermind."

Kujasiri nodded and approached. "Thank you for catching this meal." He started to dig his teeth into the animal.

Mzuri laughed at what Dakari said. She then said, "Well unless you can catch antelope or hippo? I sure can't."
