All Leha could do was shake her head for she had no idea how were they going to tell Garo. Meanwhile Bambi nodded silently at Ronno. Long Ear's children and mate were all asleep, and Long Ears just sat there to see how long it was going to take that monster to get bored and leave.

Ronno sighed and said, "I am sure you'll think of something Leah." He smiled at her. He then looked at Bambi and walked awy from everyone. "Bambi I need you to know why I hated you." Meanwhile the child started pounding the ground with the cage.

Bambi found himself sighing, "Is that really of any importance right now Ronno?" Long Ears noticed that his family was now up and said to them, "No body goes outside." he seemed pretty serious, "Just wait here and he'll leave."

Ronno looked at Bambi. "Yes I am older than you. My life is almost over. I must get this burden off of my chest." Suddenly the human put burning leaves in the den to try and fan them out.

Bambi knew that there was no avoiding the subject. "Okay, go ahead." Long Ears meanwhile sighed in frustration, he looked to his familly, "Into the tunnel. We'll go out through the other side."

Ronno said, "I know this is no excuse but my father beat up on me and yelled at me while fawns my age called me a mother's boy because my mother choked the life out of me." The child just remained there waiting.

Ronno continued. "And you took Faline. I had a crush on her too."

Bambi raised an eyebrow, "I thought you were going to tell me what caused it all in the first place."

Ronno said, "I did. My father beat me up. He beat up my own mate when she met him. He beat me up until he died. But as I said I liked Faline too."
