Was Scar really THAT bad?

Scar was sad because it was so unfair that he would never get to be king. Killing his brother and driving his young nephew into exile was just Scars way of doing justice to himself.

That might be part of it, but he took pleasure and satisfaction in lying and deceiving, it wasn't just about the ends: it was about the means for Scar too.

IMPORTANT EDIT:O.O They cutted Scar's last words from the movie! Scar's last words before the hyenas killed him were "Mufasa, please forgive me." I forgot to save a link to the site, but... This proves that Scar isn't that bad after all. I wonder why they deleted them.

I think they deleted them to prove that Scar was evil in the end lol. That's interesting though, I never heard of those lines.

Well when you read the Tale of Two Brothers from TLK 6 New Adventures, you see how Mufasa and Scar father paid more attention to Mufasa and didnt really care for Scar. Plus, its the Monarch system so its always the first born to be king.

Well cocidering that he want to be the future king, the ambition made him do that kind of bad stuff.sometimes the dessire for something can make any one bad.
