Actually, you're breaking the law, by using Disney art and claiming the copyright is yours.

Dude, this is a kids forum. You should seriously be careful what you put on here. There are people under 13 here that could get in trouble for looking at something like that.

Okay. Don't swear because kids can see this stuff and could get in trouble for it.
SBS, you shouldn't claim that as your own even if you added your own affects. Its not nice to write "Dream Killer" on someone's avatar because, again, kids can see this. I know SBS can irritate people some times (I'm 1 of 'em) but you shouldn't insult him.

Anyway, back on topic.

I beleive that Kopa is the cub at the end of TLK. I'm not hurting Simba so badly with my beleif because I beleive Kopa is alive. Not only do I like to beleive this but I beleive that my theory is backed up with facts that prove it.
1) I know you say that the TLK cub was Kiara but its obvious that the cub is a male. The presentation was different. The colors were different. Simba and Nala looked younger at the end of TLK than at the beggining of SP.

2) I beleive that Simba refers to Kopa several times like how he refused to tell Kiara about the Outsiders and has a very strong hatred for Zira (though some argue that its due to her being Scar's Queen but I beleive that that's the second reason). When Simba sings "Even those who are gone are with us as we go on," I beleive that he is reffering to Mufasa & Kopa.

3) I beleive that Kopa was kidnapped by Zira and taken to another Pride. Simba thought that Zira murdered Kopa and banished half of his Pride.

Wow. I didn't mean for my post to be this long :?
Anyway, please give me your opinions Kopa haters and Kopa beleivers. 8-)

He's refering to Mufasa. If Kopa really had died, (Or if he even existed) he wouldn't be looking at the stars. It's the Great Kings of the Past... Not the Great Sons of the Past.
Actually, you're breaking the law, by using Disney art and claiming the copyright is yours.
Actually, I'm claiming the copyrights of the avatar as in the art I made, and not of the picture I used for the art''s base. If you take a look around, no one ever credits Walt Disney Pictures for the picture base of graphics while using the graphic, and if you thought of why, you'd realize it's because everybody knows the copyright holder is the movie company. But does everyone know or is it obvious who holds the copyrights of the avatar art darius used for his own little "art"? No. Thus, crediting tha original art's copyright holder is crucial.

Also, the law says a permission has to be asked and received before use and publishing of copyrighted material. The fact that you and no one else either ever askes movie companies' permissions for non-profit use of screen captures, doesn't make it OK to not ask fan artists' permission to use their art. Why? Simple: Just because you break the law in one situation, doesn't justify you to do it in every situation.

Unlike asking from a movie company, asking from a fan artist would take 20 seconds for all needed to do is to send a private message to the artist. Darius didn't ask because he knew I wouldn't allow the use for that kind of offensive crap. So he stole it and didn't even credit me for the avatar used as a base for his little "art" even though without credits no one could tell who made the art and will assume he did.

And yet, if Walt Disney Pictures came and required me to take my art down, I would have to, and I would.

And so is everyone else in the MLK community. I agree with SBS, not to the point that Darius was "Breaking the law" but he did have no right to take his avatar and use it. We all know that you're supposed to credit or atleast ask if you can use something by another artist. You do realise that everyone else is using Disney art and claiming it for themselves, don't you? And the fact that as SBS said, he edited the screengrab and whatnot means that he is the so called artist of the avatar not the original screengrab. Get your facts right and listen to what SBS says before you go off on a rant that has no real facts behind it. You are very aggresive, Snowy. Yes, SBS does irritate me sometimes, but he had great facts behind him and he researches things alot instead of wildly claiming "OMG KOPA IS TOOOTALLY REAL" without doing simple facts. I believe SBS is a somewhat voice of reason in this forum. He may "shatter peoples dreams" of whatever, but he's not personally attacking individual people. He is simply debating their claims and sometimes educating people. So, leave him alone.

Using TLK screengrabs does not make it fan art, nor does it make you a fan artist. Fan artists create original pieces from scratch.

Edit: yeah actually he is lol, in that he's constantly trying to discredit any claim that Kopa or Mheetu exists.

Ehh... Then why does the user group out there say Graphic ARTISS? And what is a creative work by a fan, if not fan art? What is a visual graphic if not creative and art?

It's graphic artists, not fan artists, there is a difference and a group for each.
