But they have to make it good for a theater release and so we dont tear Disney up.

it's TLK3 in other countries... we call it TLK4 because it's the 4th TLK movie.. but yeh... it's probably not gonna be any good.. Disney sucks at making musicals now days... All the songs would be like... uber duber crappy.. so yeh... probably shouldn't makeanother..lol

but if they do.. i'll go see it.

Well I liked it, and in Europe they called 1 1/2 number 3 so if they did make another they'd have to take into consideration all the other places they released the movies(and just because liked 1 1/2 don't get all *why could you like that movie? cause I didn't like it because I thought it was bad* because I know a couple of people who liked it too.).

And besides if they can't cheapout on another sequil then why wouldn't you want one?

I'm not the biggest fan of sequels to Disney movies, but since Lion King was my favorite EVER, I don't mind seeing sequels just to see what they come up with. I thought they we pretty good, not great, but good. So why not, I'll sign!
When I signed there were 3,532 signatures...so we'll see! :ehh2:

Regardless of how many 'signatures' this petition gets, Disney is still not obligated to make this sequel. Plus, if they did right now, it would
1) be looked down on by the general public
2) be about the same quality as it's other recent sequels (Little Mermaid 3?)

We'd need to either wait for them to get back into a good run of movies, or provide material of our own if we want a decent sequel.

Disney has plenty of material to read up on from the Lion King community's fan fictions.

but they can't use any material people outside of Disney submit to them. seriously, I found it on Disney.com when I got lost in the help section one day...

the only way anyone's material would make it into a Disney movie is if
1- they started working for Disney
2- Disney asks to see their ideas and work first
3- both

which is why I can't suggest the awesome idea for a awesome rollercoaster for Animal Kingdom and that other park in California (California Adventure?) to them....I know many here would ride it just cause of its theme. but I can so no more as I will try to eventually convince Disney to ask me to see the design when I finish it.

Hehe, I'm Siggy #2 on this petition.

I really hope it gets through to Disney too. We probably have a long ways to go before we see that new TLK, but I hope it will be sooner than later. ^^ Keep the Siggies coming everyone! ^^
