Zira growled deep within her throat but allowed the cubs to pass her. She had more important matters to deal with at the time. The agitated lioness padded off towards her den and stretched her limbs with a humongous yawn following. She lay down and rested her chin on her folded paws.
"I don't trust those stupid cubs," Zira mumbled to herself as she pondered.
And in the whole event, Vitani had been wondering what was up with Nuka. His winking at her made her even more confused as her brain racked the possibilities. All this ended at the mention of another meeting to play with Kopa. Her face immediately brimmed with a smile and she practicaly glowed.
"Will we see him tomorrow?" the young cub asked excitedly, almost hopping in front of her siblings with pure joy streamed across her features.

Nala giggled at Simba and winked at him as she strode out towards the front entrance of the den. "Ah, so I see my handsome mate still is a fine gentleman. Well, lead on, my love!" she called out as she continued walking, glancing back at Simba every once in a while.
