Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

I apologize if there's already a topic on this. If so, feel free to lock this one. No bashing or flaming of any sort, please.

Anyway, this is one of my favorite video games. For those who don't know, it's a role-play game set in the Star Wars universe during a period 4,000 years before the SW films. The plot revolves around the search for several alien maps that ultimately lead the player to an ancient battle station fueled by the dark side of the Force.

The game is pretty good, and it introduces new planets, technology, alien races and so on.

I have played this game too many times to count. I like how it allows you to choose what side of the Force you want to be allied with.

The characters are cool, as are the new planets and so on.

Currently, they even have a novel based on the MMORPG out at the moment. It's pretty good.

With regard to the original KOTOR, I also like the ability to equip your character any way you wish. I always give my guy a double-bladed lightsaber (usually with blue, purple, green or yellow blades), and Jedi robes (in one of the varying shades available).

The KOTOR villains are also some of my favorite SW villains. I thought it was really creepy to see the lead villain without the mechanical piece that covers his severed lower jaw.
