The hyena trio - strange group?

The books were not written by this films' makers + they even denied those particular books from applying the film by denying Kopa. So, no, they were not actually siblings in this film. Could be, but as far as we know, that is only a fanvision.

Just read through the book, and it doesn`t mention anything about the Hyenas mother or their relationship.

How do you know they're not fans? Just because they write childrens' book for living, doesn't mean they can't be fans of the things they base their books on. =) And as they most certainly weren't Disney's own people but outsiders, and the film makers denied the books instead of tying them into the movies, and we don't know if they were fans of not, I think fans and fanfiction is the closest accurate term for the writers and the books.

I'm not sure what book this is from, but I suspect it might be Chronicles of the Pride Lands. It's one of the earliest and most widely known pieces of TLK fan fiction.
