Geno said, "You're a back poking snake that's what you are." that was quite a sharp reply to when Karus told Geno to never turn his back on him.

Leah snorted as the doe said that she and Karus were friends, "He'll hand you as a hunter's dinner the moment he's done with what he needed you for." she then added, "What makes you think that we'll run straight into his trap?"

Garo ran through the forest for quite a long time, "Come on... How hard it is to find a group of so many deer?' he kept running untill he finally saw them. He had never seen so many does and bucks all together. 'Wow, that is a big family.' he went over to them, "Hey." he started, getting the group's attention, "Are you Lana's relatives?"

Karus laughed. He looked at Geno. "I never poked you in the back. You always knew I was dangerous. It was you who refused to do anything about it." He looked at Geno and said, "How much do your sister and mate mean to you? You better hope for their sake that they don't follow the doe back here or you will see how evil I am." He looked at Geno. "And trust me it won't be beating you up."

The doe laughed. "No for we understand eachother quite well." She then said, "I knew you wouldn't. I lied. Your mates are there with Karus. If you refuse to come he will kill them, and not quickly either." Gurri looked at her. "But you're...I mean look at you. How did you fall in with that maniac." The doe just smiled.

The relatives just ignored him.

Geno snorted, "It was an expression." he then added, "Of course you wont beat me up. You got others to do it for you." 'Pathetic coward.

Leah knew that following the doe is a trap. How would she ever look Garo in the eyes if she allowed Gurri, who was pregnant with their fawns to walk straight into that trap? "We're not falling for it."

Garo knew what would get their attention. "The Great Prince sent me. Lana and his mate are in danger." he reminded them, "Don't you remember Geno? He visited you yesterday... Anyways they both need your help, I can't do it by myself. They're going to die if we don't hurry!"

Karus laughed and knocked him down. "Can't beat you up huh?" He looked at Geno and said, "You know if you are going to be the 'Great Prince' you are off to a bad start."

The doe nodded. "Okay then I will tell Karus to torture them until you hear their blathering screams. Maybe that will change your minds. He will keep doing that until you come." It was then the doe ran off.

The family said, 'What?"

Instead of getting up and then charging at Karus, Geno leaped to his feet as hard as he could and slammed his antlers against him. He was pleased to see Karus fall off his feet and hoped that it hurt as much as it looked like. "Save the talking." Geno spat, and readied himself for another attack that was most likely soon to come.

Leah couldn't just let Lana and Gurri right straight into the trap. "Following her won't help." she was lost for options and looked at Lana "There has to be a way to help them. Please think of something, Geno's there as well!"

Garo was relived that at least that was hhaving an affect, "Yes, you have to help! They're going to kill them both if we don't get there in time!"

Karus just smirked. "Ah shut up you wimp." He then said, 'You might not want to do that." He then looked at the two bucks. 'Bring her." It was then they brought Faline out. "Shall we kill her right in front of you?"

The doe ran back and said, "The does aren't coming." Karus cursed and said, "Then we shall torture all three of them and make their screams fill the whole forest until they can't stand it no longer."

The family said, "Uh we don't know."

Geno was absolutely horrified when he realised that they had hold of his mother. "Leave her! She idd nothing to you!"

Garo felt like nothing was going to come out of this, "Wha... What?! They need your help or they'll... Ah forget it." he then got an idea, 'Lana!' they would probably listen to her. He ran back to where he left Gurri with his mother and Lana and to his relief they were both there. Before his mother could express her relief Garo spoke up, "Lana, I have an idea." he then explained, "Your family is of like 20 deer, they can help us! I tried to talk to them but they didn't listen. But they'll listen to you, you have to hurry and get them to help us."

Karus laughed. "Make her scream! Make the Great Prince want to kill us." Suddenly screaming was heard.

Lana said, "I'll try!" She ran and went to her family. "They need your help. If you help us I think the Great Prince would reward you." The family suddenly sprung up. "We'll help." Suddenly Karus said, "Alright that is enough. Now make the two bucks scream. Make their mates beg for it to stop. I want to see the life drain from that Geno! I want to see him choke on his own throat!" Karus looked pretty angry when he said that, obviously getting his hatred of Geno off of his chest. "When Garo comes let me rip out his heart!"

Bambi heard the scream and knew that they were running out of time, 'Come on Garo, where are you?..'

Garo followed Lana back to her family. "Oh, yes! He will reward you! He was the one who sent me here for your help in the first place." He then gestured at the direction of the cliff, "It's this way, come one!" he then began leading the way towards the cliff.

Geno didn't look as the two bucks began torturing his mother. He spotted the anger on Karus' face and felt delighted. 'I won coward... You just cant deal with the fact that I'm better than you.' He hoped his mom would take the oppertunity and get out of there.

Karus said, "Begin making them suffer." The two bucks came over to them and started laughing. Karus then said, "I want Geno to watch this time. Make him look." One of the bucks made sure Geno's head was pointed at his mother and then the screaming started again. Ronno screamed, "You gutless cowards! You leave her alone!" Karus just laughed.

The family nodded and followed Garo until they met the Great Prince. "Oh Great Prince what do you want us to do?" Gurri looked at Bambi, "Father that scream sounded like a doe!"
