Knowing how close Kopa and Dakari had grown in the few years he had been with them, Tamu understood Dakaris sudden sadness at the loss of Kopa. she knew that the chances of him coming back were very slim, and that the chances of him being the same lion were even slimmer. If only she could have found a way to stop the inevitable...

He was a good friend to us for many years, I miss him... I wish Jata never got to him though... she said without thinking, blushing as she realized what she said. quickly trying to pass over that fact, she said He'll be back one day Dakari... I know it!

Ra's mind was rooted to the spot. she knew that Odion was going to show her something beautiful, and that where they were going would be amazing, yet she felt scared. she was afraid of falling and drowning, how her parents would feel and how she would feel, knowing that she would have hurt Odion.

Hearing Odion's soothing calming words, Ra's mind began to realize what was going on. O... OK... Ra hesitantly said, Taking hold of Odion's paw, and slowly letting him take her along the ledge. Thank you Odion... she said, letting go of his paw half way across. But i have to do at lease half of this by myself, you go on ahead she said, a smile appearing on her face.

Dakari's mind began to fill with memories of his friend and the good times they've had together, all of them. He remembered that Kopa promised to come back, and he believed him. But he was worried that Kopa's journey would change him alot, and hoped that he'll be the same when he came back. He couldn't help but grin at what Tamu was saying, He and Jata had it pretty rough before he left, who knows. he said and gave her a friendly nudge to show that he meant what he was saying.

Orion began to pull Ra up; but when she insisted on climbing the rest by herself he let her. He turned towards the inside of the cave and hopped off the wall and inside. He knew Ra would like the place, it was very romantic. The light coming through the waterfall made it not too dark, but without alot of light either. He turned to Ra once she was done climbing onto the wall Pretty romantic, don't you think? he asked and smiled at her, hoping that the entire thing was going like Ra hoped it would.

Tamu mentally sighed, she had revealed a deep secret and he hadn't noticed. Thankfully he had just followed the conversation and wouldn't go back to her secret love for Kopa. Unless... wait? did he think that if Kopa came back he and Jata wouldn't be together? she blushed deeply again, feeling like if she kept this p he cheeks would be permanently stained red. What do you mean 'Kari? she asked embarrassed and playfully

Ra stood there amazed. how had she never know about this place? she had been to this are enough in her cub hood. Her eyes were drawn away when Odion ran and jumped off the wall and spoke to her. Ohh my prince... she said lovingly and playfully running towards him so she could slip her head under his chin. I think it's beautiful she said softly

Dakari smirked, but he wasn't going to tease her over such a subject. So again, he tried to seem serious when he spoke up, "You know... Jata was kind of mad at him for leaving... I dunno..." he said akwardly, looking down at his paws. He again wandered what was the entire thing with Nuru in the den a few minutes ago, and as much as he tried to he just couldn't stop worrying himself over it.

When Ra placed her head under his chin and told him how beautiful the place was, Odion's mind quickly began working out something he could say as a compliment. "It is, but..." he said, trying to think of something despite the nervousness he was having, "But... it's not... not as beautiful as you are." he said, hoping that it was as flattering as it sounded.

Tamu sat up noticing her friends apparent sadness and moved to his side, still blushing as brightly as she had been a few moments earlier. Dakari? Are you OK? she asked concerned for one of her best friends. I'm here if you want to talk about something? she said, her mind running through the millions of possabilities of what could be wrong with Dakari.

Ra blushed. It was probabily the most beautiful thing anyone had ever said to her. Awwwww was all she could manage at first, mooving the nuzzle to give a quick kiss to Odions neck before resuming the nuzzle. That's so sweet my prince... you'll make a wounderful king one day, and i'm sure you'll be respected and loved by everyone! You're queen will be lucky to have you as a mate! she said slightly flirtously, a distinct purr resonating in her voice.

Dakari knew that there was no sense in keeping the cause of his sudden sadness a secret, especially not from his friend, "I'm worried about Nuru..." he admitted with a sigh. One moment she was all happy but suddenly when her father came it turned the other way around and it made Dakari feel as if it was somehow his fault. What was freaking him out the most was that he had no idea why did Nuru start crying all of a sudden.

Odion could feel the nervousness slowly get hold of him, especially upon the kiss Ra gave him. She made it feel like it really was the day they fell in love, and Odion wasn't sure whether to find it strange or not. The part in which she mentioned the word queen was even more difficult to deal with. How was he going to tell her that she had always been the only one he could think of as a mate if he barely managed to confess his feelings for her? Deciding to stop thinking about it for the moment, Odion slowly placed his head on top of Ra's, purring at the contact.

(( You said your tests will be over by January. Does this mean we're going active again? ))

(( yeah, i have tests over the next two weeks and then im active again + Christmas is over ))

Tamu sighed slightly, They were all worried about Nuru and what effect her father had on her for all these years. 'Kari, She'll be alright, you just need to make sure you're there for her when she needs it, you know what she can be like when her father is around? She sighed and nuzzled him. it was a lot different from when they were growing up and Dakari still didnt have a mane. And we'll be there for you.

A shiver of affection made its way through Ra's body as she removed her head from under his chin, herself purring to show she was still with him. She looked at him, his perfect features and perfect body, Was she falling in love withhim again? Yes. Did it feel wrong to be doing this, now they had some alone time? No. Ra looked down and blushed, her voice a purr, What do you want me to do, my prince?

Dakari couldn't help but sigh at the fact that Nuru's father always seemed to have some effect on her. "Yes, I know..." He didn't speak out the fact that he kind of despised him, not because it was a terrible thing to say but because he felt like it was obvious to everyone already. He also let down a sigh and then lay back down, "I know you will..." The first thing he was going to do the moment he was done with the dumb border patrol was to go and make sure Nuru was feeling better.

Odion soon found himself getting lost in Ra's eyes. They seemed so understanding, and it caused Odion to feel a little bad about this entire time which had passed without them spending time together at all. He had never expected to ever experience such strong feelings for Ra again, but yet there they were. All the emotions he was feeling at the moment made it kind of hard to speak. He put on his best smile, "Whatever you want to do, my princess." Even though the first time he called her like that was over two years ago, he still remembered the way she reacted to it.
