Well you can clearly see by the way the movie is made that the last movie isn't from the 90's,it's based on humor (beginning of the end for Disney?), the last one isn't at all like the 1st and the 2nd movie, so yes i'm a little bit disappointed :(
I know right?! This is something I really hate about Disney movies nowadays. All current Disney movies are aimed at making audiences laugh instead of having good plots and songs. Movies from before the 2000s such as TLK and FATH were much more memorable and epic <3
Films of today are aimed at making audiences because everybody looks depressed those days... (crisis,...)
The only thing that depress me is there isn't anymore amazing films (there's a few exceptions of course)

i miss good old days with TLK,goofy and max... and their epic songs

Actually, there was no time to get disappointed. The first time I heard of it was seeing the trailer or seeing the DVD front cover. And as it was obviously going to be a parody, better Timon & Pumbaa than someone else. The only thing I got generally disappointed of was that they made a parody instead of a serious sequel. (Not to mention how some of the jokes were pretty much ruining the original film. Like the fart joke and how Timon and Pumbaa were supposedly Simba's "parents", constantly calling him 'our son'. STUPID.)

All I wish from a sequel is a backstory for Mufasa and Scar in Disney's own, official vision that actually would make sense unlike certain fanfiction with certain buffalo horn vision... And rather a film about it by the original film's makers. But that's likely not gonna happen.

Ah, I would have prefered a serious sequel too. I never really knew TLK 1/2 was coming out until I actually saw it in stores, and it was severly awful for me, because it was just things we have already seen with some gags and extra scenes added in. Timons past was a little interesting, because that was new, but I would have loved to see more of out fav characters ( Or mine ) The lions. That's why it's TLK... I suppose it's good that there was a third, instead of none at all, but Kiara's next chapter or whatever would have been interesting to see D: Something new you know? So yes, I was disappointed in the movie, unfortunatly i didn't know what it was about before hand....

It's definately not as good as the first two, but I wasn't entirely disappointed.

I found the film quite clever in the sense that it's from Timon and Pumbaa's perspective. You get to see their backstory and how they raised Simba more.

However, I'm not saying it's a very good movie. The trailer made me cringe at the disgusting joke I won't even mention here. The gags stood around a little too long, and I didn't really like Ma that much. Timon's uncle was really funny though. :nehneh:
