I haven't yet, but I'll be sure to check it out when I can. We had to do an animation project for class too. I never got around to uploading it yet but I got it up on photobucket: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii28 ... mation.gif

When you upload a pic here, there should be a tab on the side that says "tag". Click that and a list of chars will pop up at the bottom. Just find your character a click tag. ;3 Easy as that.

Yup, I am. It may be awhile before I get the pages uploaded, but he definitely has a comic in the works.

do you have any tips for an aspiring artist?

i've been messing around in gimp but i just don't seem to get it

Of course I can. I'd be glad to give you a few tips. Let's see...

- I'd definitely encourage you to practice as often as you can. Keep a sketch book handy and sketch in it as often as possible. xD I think I've filled up 4 or 5 since I started in 2007. c: It really does help you get better.

- Don't worry about how bad you think your art is, just draw! I've seen more than one person quit doing art because they thought they'd never be as good as -insert name here-. ;3 You'll never know how good you'll become unless you keep at it.

- Use photo references as often as you need. After awhile, you'll be able to draw what you want from memory. But while you're learning, study pics by other artists and photos to understand how something works.

- And last, if you don't understand something really, look up tutorials on how it's done. There's plenty around the net, especially on deviantArt. ;3
