I see nothing wrong with going into deep detail. At least he explains why he feels that way.
Even if I don't agree 100% with the things he says, I enjoy reading them. At least I can understand where he's coming from.

There is nothing wrong with it, all I'm saying is that if he's going to be so long-winded, he can't expect everyone to read his posts in their entirety.

I'm not. I'm not expecting everyone to read them entirely. But chances are evryone who read my posts have read at least one lengthy post entirely. And not all my posts are that long anyway. And at least I put paragraph which makes reading easier. And sometimes when I quote someone to post an argument, my argument isn't at all or by much more lengthy than the one I quoted...

Anyway, I understand where you are coming from, I tend to do the same thing, but not on the computer, because I write a whole lot and then this site logs me out *twitch*. And yep, I do enjoy writing the posts I write, and discussing, as in when people address the posts' contents with interested and genuine arguments or considering comments. Which has happened a lot here as far as I see, which is why I have been writing them instead of getting discrouaged.

And which is why supersimba's politics forum sting falls flat. All I need is fans as interested in discussion and depth as I am, and they do exist. Very evidently.
