Geno nodded, "Main thing I remember was that my dad wasn't around alot..." he always wished that his father would have spent more time with him and Gurri, but it didn't matter alot now.

Garo sighed, "It still hurts a little, but I'll probably be fine tomorrow."

Thumper completely forgot that they were following the group of deer, he couldn't see them but he was soon able to hear talking."I think that's them."

Long Ears frowned, "That's exactly what you ate yesterday." Bambi the skunk's mate didn't really care about what food did the two bring back."

Lana nodded. "I am sorry about that." She looked at Geno and said, "Come on." She got up and went back to the others. Hopefully they did not suspect anything. "Are you feeling okay Geno?"

Gurri smiled and said, "Garo you may be just another buck to the rest of the world but to me you are all the world."

Flower nodded and said, "Hopefully."

Long Ears' mate said, "Yeah well that was yesterday. Get me something special!"

Geno slowly shook his head, "It's fine." he was surprised when she suddenly decided to head back to the others. "Yeah, I'm okay..." he said slowly, "Why are we heading back?"

Garo smiled and then started nuzzling Gurri, "Not as much as you are to me." he then pulled his head back so that he could look at his mate. He found himself staring into Gurri's deep and understanding eyes.

Thumper soon got to the group, and was relieved to see Garo and Gurri were there, "Wait, where's Geno?"

Long Ears sighed, "Fine... What do you want instead?"

Lana looked at Geno. "You aren't tired?" She then looked at Geno and sighed. "Well fine I'll stay here." She looked at Geno. "Uh so...you don't have a mate right now right?"

Gurri smiled and giggled. She looked at Garo with her blue eyes and stared. She was looking hopeful. Gurri then saw Thumper. "I don't know." She looked around at Garo, "Do you know?"

Flower looked confused. "Huh. That is strange he is not here."

Long Ears' mate said, "Just find something."

Geno shook his head, "Ah, no..."

Garo snapped out of his trance when Gurri asked about Geno. He shrugged, "I remember that he came back with us, that's all."

Thumper shrugged, "It is kinda strange." he said, before looking at Flowers. "This reminds me that you've never met my son before."

Long Ears rolled his eyes and walked back outside to find something else to eat.

Lana held back a smile. "Oh...really."

Gurri nodded. "Yeah. Hey wait wasn't he with that mean doe?" Was Gurri really serious about what she was thinking?

Flower nodded. "I'll see him when we have time my friend."

Bambi the skunk said to his mate. "Uh do you...uh want something else?" He hoped she wouldn't get mad.

Geno looked at her curiously, "Yeah... really." he said, before lying himself back down.

Garo shrugged, "I remember she also came back with us."

Thumper then suggested, "Why not now?"

To Bambi the skunk's surprise, his mate wasn't mad at all, "No, this is fine." she wanted to start eating but figured it would be polite to wait for Long Ears to return.

Lana said, "Well I mean a handsome buck like you...I would have thought...anyway. I forgot about Marena. I uh...how will you continue on?"

Gurri said, "Uh yeah but I thought she hated Geno..."

Flower then nodded. "Oh well I was just going to stay with the deer..."

Bambi the skunk sighed in relief. "Thank you!"

Geno felt his cheek go red as Lana called him handsome. He chose his words carefully before speaking up again. "You were right. I couldn't have done anything... The only thing I can do now is put it all behind me..." to his surprise he had a genuine, thankful smile on his face. "Thanks for helping me understand that."

Garo shrugged, "Well I don't think we should worry. The worst thing that might happen is them yelling at eachother. It's not like she'll hurt him or something like that."

Thumper realised that it was kind of late, and figured that Flower could perhaps meet Long Ears tomorrow.

Bambi the skunk's mate smiled slightly, feeling confused, "About what?" Suddenly Long Ears came back, this time holding blossoms.

Lana smiled. "I didn't help you figure that out. You figured it out on your own. Don't forget about it. Just don't feel guilty about the event." She looked at Geno. "Well I am going to go to sleep."

Gurri nodded but said, "Well if he doesn't come back by morning can we then get a little worried? I mean we only saw her yell but we don't what else she can do if you get my meaning."

Flower said to his friend. "So is your son like you?"

Bambi the skunk smiled and said, "For not yelling at me like..." he stopped.
