Is might most likely that this DVD will be capable to be on 3D, since there are many movies now on 3D, would be cool if they came up with a package that has the movie and the pair of 3D glasses

Do you need a special TV to play 3D movies? I don't think so, because a while back there were some movies airing here on my local TV channel that was 3D and they were selling the glasses in shopping malls and they worked. My TV was a plain old standard one.

There is two 3D displays, one is the red / blue glasses one. The other is called Stereoscopic 3D and uses 3DTV and what look like sunglasses, allowing the 3D effect without sacrificing colour / quality of picture, for the later option you need a "3D Ready" TV .

That is what I understand of it anyway :). I tried one in a Sony store and did not think too much of it either to be honest :/
