Well, not to rain on the parade, but they remain tiny during the day he trains with Kiara, and it's hard to imagine him being more relaxed than he is then / a more normal situation light-wise. =P

I wouldn't call it brainwashing... more like angry. When angry, pupils shrink. He was grumpy at Kiara, so, well you know.

[iOur[/i] pupils shrink when were angry. Scar's and Zira's were usually small too. It's to make him seem less friendly.
