Zira... afraid of Scar?

Probably when Zira was going to scratch Kovu in face, she didn't expect to give Kovu the exact same scar like Scar had on his eye. Maybe she thought that the scar was going to be somewhere different around the face and when it ended up being on his eye, she saw Scar again inside of herself. Kovu's scar shows symbolism.

I highly doubt she was afraid of her mate XD. I think the fact that the scar was so reminiscent of Scar himself is what shocked her, not alot else. Also at this point, she really does believe that Kovu is destined to follow in Scar's pawprints and become king, perhaps the scar on the face made her think that he was deffinitely going to succeed (sp)?

Yea I think shes shocked as to how similar Kovu looks to Scar
after she gives him a scar. And maybe Zira knew how Scar got his scar and it was similar to
how she hit Kovu just a thought I had

"The pads on Zira's paw made contact with Kovu's snout before anything else hit. This impact turned Kovu's head so that Zira's claws ran the length of his face (instead of the width) when they made contact. Kovu turns his head back to an upright position, and now he's got a vertical cut."

Not having a go, but that doesn't make sense. If anything, she wouldv'e made contact with his cheekbone first. And if she did hit his snout, there'd be a mark on his snout. And seeing as it's directly vertical,Kovu turining his head that quickly is probably not possible.

I don't think that made sense either. They just wanted the "OMG NOW HE TOTALLY LOOKS LIKE SCAR HE MUST BE EVIL!!!!" reaction.
