Omg... I must be dreaming! What an interesting comic! It's so cool to see more of Sarafina (although she looks more like Sarabi than herself).

I did, and I might agree with you. It's possible that Sarafina was just babysitting some random cub. However, the cub's coloration is the same as Sarafina and Nala's, so it seems reasonable to believe it's Sarafina's cub.

Speaking of colours... There were some funny coloring errors in the comic.

Technically, the comic-writers don't need to tell you. From my research, all lionesses from the pride help raise all the young. I'm sure Sarafina was just doing one of the lionesses a favor by babysitting. [/quote]

Yes, I read your post, and i do know that Lioness all care for the cubs of the pride, there is just no way in heck i'd believe that wasn't Mheetu :9 Considering the color scheme, and the fact
that Mheetu was meant to be Nala's brother, i'd like to believe that Sarafina holding a cub that's never been seen before = Mheetu. (To me xD)

I agree with this. Considering Mheetu was part of a dropped storyline, and there`s only some concept sketches of him.. Why would he suddenly appear in a comic when he has never appeared anywhere else? It just seems odd to me.

I know that baby cub Sarafina is holding has the same colours as her and Nala, but that doesn`t mean it`s Sarafinas cub. It could easily be the cub of a different lioness in the pride, Sarafinas colours aren`t exactly unique.
Too bad the comic doesn`t mention anything about who this cub is. Oh well.

Also, in reply to Akril`s post: I was very surprised to see Mufasa not scolding the cubs for wandering off so far, and him having no reaction to the fact he heard his brother yelling at the Hyenas for letting the cubs escape. That was seriously weird.
In the panel next to the one where Mufasa sys "Come with me, Simba" there`s a little sign saying "Later." This could of course imply that in the time passed between Mufasa taking the cubs back, and deciding to take a nap, he had a talk with both Simba and Scar. Idk.

And aww at Sarabi calling Mufasa "honey." <3

We'll, I like to believe it's Mheetu :3 He's my fav character, even though he was cut, so I'd love to have something - Anything - feature him, whether it's him or not ^^ Usually I try to listen to reason, but in this case I'm sticking to him being Mheetu :3

Of course, I understand that.
Everyone is free to believe whatever they want, especially in this case, where there is no proof in the comic about who this cub is. No name or gender is mentioned, so yeah. I can definatly see why some people see that as Mheetu.
