I'm glad that the coloring in SP was fixed. The lighter colors are way better to me.

Oh well, the animation is still not the best but at least the colors are better. Kiara looked way too orange.

Thats sort of like the cub at the end of TLK and the cub at the beginning of TLK2 (A.K.A. Kiara) But the cubs looked totally different...It was originally going to be Kopa right? :?
Yep. :sad2:

NO. IT. WAS'NT.
It was NEVER intended to be Kopa, it had no gender, name, or story. NOT KOPA!

^ Did you seriously need to bump up that ancient post just to say that...?

To stay on topic, I agree that that the color fixes were a lot better than the original crappy colors.

It also hasn't been proven that it's NOT Kopa. But thank you for bringing up unnecissary drama, for a post that was like a year old, anyways. It's really not that big of a deal, in the first place.

And yeah, I agree, the color improvements on the special edition looked way better. The original VHS/release had this weird red hue to it throughout the whole movie (which I actually thought looked cool aswell, probably why the limited edition DVD release of the original version is so sought after,) while the new, updated version was a lot more cleaned up, and brighter. This made all the wonderful art really stand out.

In your opinion, Vix. ^^ WS is entitled to his own opinion, which is valid and shared by a large portion of this board.

I didn't even know the color was different in the original, I've only seen the special edition I guess. It looks pretty odd in that screenshot though, Nala is almost brown. =P

I respect both your opinions, Azdgari. It just depends on what the original post said. She said that the original cub was supposed to be Kopa and Kopa23 agreed saying it was true. Now, I'm pretty sure that's not true...I believe this is not as much a matter of opinion as of facts, my friend. :)

And I also think that they just got the contrast up too high on the VHS version and on the DVD they quickly changed it to less contrast more brightness. (Believe me, I know my effects, lol.)
