Something That's Confusing...

Okay. I can't beleive that I'm the only one who noticed this. It confuses me. I've heard the rumors that people say; "Oh, Nala is Scar's daughter", "Scar and Nala are the parents of Vitani", and I personally beleive that all those are very incorrect.

But this confuses me. I was looking through the MLK sceencaps and found this.


Nala stares at Scar funny It looks kind of loveingly or concerned. It creeps me out. Those rumors of Scar and Nala aren't true.

Perhaps she feared him a bit and so did not look at him as angrily as the other lionesses?

I think she's just worried at that point. But you never know. With Vitani's light coloration, she could be the offspring of Nala and Scar, it is never stated within the movie that Zira is actually Vitani's mother, she could've been adopted.

As for the 'Scar is Nala's father' that is also possible. Because if Mufasa was Nala's father, then Simba and Nala would be half brother and Sister, but i guess that doesn't matter to lions. But we won't know Nala's actual father, he could have just been some rouge.

She's not concerned about Scar. She's concerned about Simba and what Scar is saying about him may be true.
She knows Simba is hiding something ("He's holding back, he's hiding") so she starts to beleive Scar and pay more attention to his words. The other lionesses know nothing about Simba so they're not beleiving Scar at all.
Scar is looking at Nala because he knows she was the one who brought Simba back. Nala was the one who defended Simba ("Simba is the rightful king") to begin with. He knows she's close to Simba and is using his feelings for her to screw with his mind.

Nala's father isn't Scar. Nala's father isn't Mufasa. I don't see any reason why Disney would want that.

Vitani isn't the daughter of Scar and Nala because Vitani would have to have been atleast a teenager when we first see her in SP.

Maybe Nala was just worried what Scar would do to Simba.

I can't remember where I read it, but I read something that stated that Mufasa was Nala's father It was something official too D:>

Those two points seems reasonable. It's like saying Ni was Nala's father, which is a popular theory apparently, yet clearly impossible.

The King can mate with whoever he wants to in the pride, and Simba just may not know that Nala is his sister, Mufasa probably wouldn't tell him

it's like Tojo from the 6NA books, he's practically a clone of Simba. They could be brothers and not know it, you know?
