Leah frowned at the two of them "I'm not a doll! No one is fighting anyone!" She had little belief that what she said would influence any of the two. And she knew what that buck was looking for, and what was going to happen to her if Ronno lost.

Geno decided not to push the doe for the reason she was sent there, he wasn't going to insist for an answer if she said it she didn't want to talk about it. He shook his head at what she said later, "It's okay. Again I'm sorry for making it look like that... I just haven't gotten over my loss yet..." he then thought of what she said last, "Sure, we could be friends." she turned out to be nice after all, maybe being just friends was a good idea.

Thumper continued on, "She always had those mood swings. It was kinda scary sometimes."

Garo hoped that they wouldn't have to worry about Geno for running away or something, he fell silent again.

Long Ears gulped when his mate came into view, "I told you... We went to look for our friends... You said you'd wait here, remember?"

The buck laughed at Ronno. "Oh she fights your battles for you?" Ronno looked at Leah, "NO! You stay out of this at once!" The buck said, "Well come on old-timer, impress me." Ronno scraped the ground with his hoof and readied his antlers. He charged into the buck but the buck just pushed him aside. "Do you give up?" Ronno looked at the younger buck, "Never!" He got up again and the buck hit him right in the shoulder that got hurt. He fell down again.

The doe looked at Geno and said, "Alright." After an awkward moment she said, "Well uh if you don't need me for anything I'll see you around." She had to get out of there to clear her head of some things.

Bambi the skunk said, "Oh you know about that huh?"

Gurri looked at Garo, "Yeah let's just do what Mom says."

Long Ears' mate looked at Long Ears and said, "And why did you tell me to wait here hmm?

Leah's worst fears came to life and the two began fighting. At some point she just couldn't bear watching it anymore, "Stop! Please..." she said, looking at the younger buck, "Don't hurt him, please... I'll do what you want..." she hated doing that, but she just couldn't bear seeing Ronno get hurt like that.

Geno nodded at her with a slight smile, "See you around." he said, before falling silent and heading off in a direction of his own.

Thumper looked at him. "Of course I did. I'm not that old."

Garo slowly nodded and then there was silence again.

Long Ears eyes her curiously, "I asked you if you wanted to come and you said no." Did she forget that or something?

The younger buck laughed and said, "Sure I won't hurt him. All he has to do is give up. Of course he will be known as a coward who lets his doe fight his battles for him and could never show his face again but he will live." Ronno couldn't bear that. He got up and said to the buck, "I said I wasn't giving up." The younger buck smiled and said, "Good. I shall enjoy beating you again and again."

The doe looked at Geno, "Hey wait! Uh are you going to be okay now?"

Bambi the skunk laughed and said, "Of course, excuse me sir."

Long Ears' mate sighed and said, "Well where is your friend?"

Leah then got the buck's attention, "I know what you want. Only if you promise to leave us alone." she then looked around at Ronno, "Please, you can't fight him..." she then looked back at the younger buck, "You can beat him all you want but it comes down to me at the end. So you either leave him alone or this whole thing will turn out to be a waste of your time."

Geno looked around at her, surprised that she was again checking to see whether he would be okay, "Yeah, don't worry!"

Thumper then added, "You can even ask Long Ears if he thinks so. The answer will probably be yes."

Long Ears was surprised that there wasn't an outburst of rage, but he soon stopped thinking about that. "He decided to stay with them for a while."

The younger buck smiled and said, "Actually you don't know what I want. You see I don't mind 'wasting my time' beating him to a pulp. Now old-timer are you willing to give up?" Ronno looked at him and got up saying, "NO!" The younger buck laughed and said, "Good. Keep your doe out of this." Ronno continually was beaten until his body was bruised and bloody and he was shaky getting up. The buck yelled at him, "Stay down!" He looked at Leah, "I win!"

The doe was surprised by his yelling but put it out of her mind. "Okay. Well good luck."

Bambi the skunk nodded his head.

Long Ears' mate then siad, "Well I am going to sleep."

Leah couldn't look. She knew she had to do something, but then again, what could she do? It's not like does had antlers, and males were usually larger than the females when it came to an older age comparing to what her son was at the moment. She looked at the buck, wishing to herself that she had antlers, "Good for you. You picked on someone older than you who got shot five minutes ago." She hated not being able to do anything, and of course that no one was going to show all of a sudden and help her.

Geno smiled slightly, before continuing in his way. "Thanks, you too."

Thumper was then reminded of something, "And look at you." he reminded him of Flower so much. "Looks like you're still single." it was wierd to him because he still remembered the last day he had seen his two friends, and Flower was 'the first one to go', not literally.

Long Ears didn't argue, "Okay. I'll be outside." he said, before slowly going outside so that she could have her privacy if she wanted.

The buck smiled and said, "Hey no one said I played fair. Just know that 'old-timer' will always be known as a coward and a weakling. I shall tell everyone of how he couldn't beat me. Now move!" He tried to herd Leah before the treeline when suddenly he was flung a full three feet. He looked behind him and saw Ronno. "Oh still not giving up huh?!" He knocked Ronno into the ground and said, "You stay down this time. The next time I shall kill you old one." Ronno tried to get up but failed.

The doe smiled and said, "Don't mention it." Wait why did she smile? She had to get out of here and get her mind cleared of some things.

Bambi the skunk laughed and said, "Oh no I am not single. It is just you see that uh she acts like Long Ears' mate so I will just hang out with Long Ears until things settle down."

Long Ears' mate went to sleep.

Leah had no choice but to obey him and move, and she went into another wave of fear as Ronno got up again, just to get knocked back down. "Ronno stop!" she tried to convince him to just lay off so that it could all be over, "I'll be fine, please stop..."

Geno then continued walking silently. It wasnt like he had anything better to do.

Thumper wasn't surprised. In fact you could say he kind of expected that. "She's probably behaving like that for a reason." he said, "And how long are you planning to wait untill things settle down exactly?"

The buck tried to egg Ronno on. "Get up or you will be a coward!" Ronno couldn't get up and the buck laughed and said to Leah, "Looks like you need to pick a better buck to protect you. I think I'll do."

Gurri then noticed it was almost dusk. "Hopefully Geno will be back soon."

Bambi the skunk said, "Well I was thinking a few days. Uh what do you mean she is probably behaving like that for a reason?" Meanwhile the doe continued on and tried to 'squash' out any feelings she had for Geno.
