Why maintain two factual articles on MLK when we could simply link to each character's wiki article on each character's topic?

Mystery and speculation, even when unnecessary is one of the prime discussion points of the forum to be honest. It's what people come here for. I don't think you should see it as something negative.

Also, linking the the wiki in the first post is an excellent idea and compromise imo

My point was that the mystery and speculation could be brought in by the rest of the discussion while the original post would contain simply the facts, so that those who read it can be sure what they are and only if they choose, they could get to the speculation and mystery.

That's true, if there was 'mystery and speculation' people might get swayed by their own opinions when wrighting the information....

This is why I'm currently about to edit those Wiki articles and remove for one the fact that many fans theorize the cub to be Kopa because of the different design and all... Because that fan speculation is not essential to the facts of who Kopa is, not to mention because Disney has already stated that the cub isn't Kopa instead of just introducing Kiara. I mean, let's get to the point when it's supposed to be a factual article about a character.

Because that fan speculation is not essential to the facts of who Kopa is, not to mention because Disney has already stated that the cub isn't Kopa instead of just introducing Kiara. I mean, let's get to the point when it's supposed to be a factual article about a character.

Exactly. Disney didn't plan on making a sequel at the time, so either way it was going to be a different cubbie :9 . But I still love Kopa xD Still, it's nice to believe that the cub at the end of the first movie was *insert name of fancharacter here* so we can make up a story about them.

Hey, guys, I was wondering what to do about that Chaka bit? The article says "In the first draft of the script for ''The Lion King II: Simba's Pride'', Kiara had a brother named Chaka, but Chaka was removed from the story before production of the second film began."

^Yet no source of information is provided. I have never, ever seen anyone refer to where that information origins at all, not to mention so that it could be verified by checking it out for oneself. Which makes me suspect that is just as factual information as is that Zira killed Kopa...

I think i read somewhere that Chaka never actually excisted and that Chaka was another name considered for Kiara
