1,) This is only a practice work.
2.) I will be buying better colors to use for coloring, so future drawings will look better in that matter.
3.) Zazu is way too big, but oh well, hopefully not too distracting. This is a practice work.

I tried what I can do with movie still references. That's my first Zazu ever, who is slightly more difficult to draw anyway, than a Disney Lion, so I'm ok with its multiple type of weirdness. Also, the fact that I have only one, poor-visioned eye to use, affects how I can draw, you know, like body proportions and stuff.

I really wish I could draw with Photoshop, but seriously how can people draw smooth lines with computer!?! Not to mention the itty bitty details! I envy all the great photoshop artists here.

Anyway, I hope you like this little traditional drawing.

I think this looks good for a practice pic. Zazu and Simba both look really on model, not to mention how well you've drawn out their expressions. x3 Lol, poor Zazu. T_T It's a rough life being the play toy of a little lion cub.

Heh, thanks! (: I too think it's fine for a practice work. I'm also pleased enough with the expressions though I tried to makw Zazu more horrified. And hopefully I'll improve... right now I'm just completely out of ideas for drawings.
