Ooh I love that one, even though I hate Saw...

About the ratings, in my country it has a M/6 - Q, which means you have to be at least 6 years old to see the movie.
The "Q" means this movie is considered to be a "quality" movie. It's rare to see a movie with it.
The only movies I have with that "Q" are TLK and some Chaplin, Hitchcock, Polanski, Kubrick type of movies, you know, the ones considered real classics of cinema. TLK is the only Disney (or Pixar) movie with that quality mark I've ever seen.

I'm glad there are fellow Hunchback of Notre Dame fans on this board,I personally ADORE that movie! It's one of my favourite films of all time and it's a shame that it's so seriously underrated. I think this is mainly due to Disney advertising it as a movie suitable for all ages when it has a storyline which is,although not necessarily too dark in my opinion (believe it or not, but kids actually do benefit from learning to understand the issue of racism and discrimination at an early age. They aren't fragile little dolls who need to be kept away from the real world for as long as possible) just a wee bit too complicated for most young children to follow. It does contain parts that could be seen as frightening for young viewers. Which is why it really should have been rated PG instead of G, that way people would have done research before deciding whether or not to take their children to see it and not just taken the "it's only a Disney movie"-attitude. Sorry for rambling but this really bugs me.

i have never watched Hunchback of Notredam and never intended to as i believed it was one of those awful disney films
but Frollo is truely attracting me to it. He sounds like those kind of Antaginists that make a film

Im ten times the king Mufasa was.

Depends on how you define awful I guess...I personally think it's one of the most beautiful films Disney ever made, and that means a lot, coming from me. Yes it is a dramatic film that deals with some serious topics but believe it or not, it does have plenty of humour as well as interesting characters. Frollo is definitely more of an antagonist than a villain, as in he's not actually evil, just narrow-minded and full of himself lol. The entire movie is on Youtube, I suggest you check it out. If you don't like it just don't watch it again. But do give it a chance =)

My father was a drinker... and a fiend. One night he went off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not one bit. So - me watching - he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it! Turns to me, and he says, "WHY SO SERIOUS? LET'S PUT A SMILE ON THAT FACE!" - The Joker
