Did Scar Kill his Father Ahadi?

No. I've read that too, but it's not mentioned in any book that Ahadi drank poison lol.

Ya, poison is unlikely. Besides, TLK didn't do anything that unnatural, where did Taka get poison?

Taka/Scar kinda poisoned himby telling Ahadi to drink out of the water hole and the water was all dirty and had germs so he's technically poison.

Nah, there is no official vision of how their father died nor any vision on those books' storyline. It's all left up to fanfiction, both in the movies and in the book universe. I think their parents died of old age. There is more than enough family drama in the canon that is the first movie.

I reported that quiz because Fanpop's quized are supposed to be based on facts and not fanfiction, so that quiz will soon be gone from confusing people.

I'd like to think that Mufasa wasn't stupid or naive so if Scar had killed their father, I think he would've had at least some suspicion... but in TLK it appeared that he pretty much trusted Scar, even called him "Brother", although in the beginning when Scar didn't show up in Simba's presentation he was pretty ticked off.

...lol I see no reason to believe Adahi was murdered, but if someone did murder him and it was either Taka or Mufasa, it would definitely have been Taka. Mufasa had morals, and would never have done anything like that (unless he somehow changed dramatically before having Simba and all that). Taka, however, didn't have a shred.

On a side note, Adahi looks rather like Mufasa in muzzle shape.

Wouldn't that be the one in the illustration picture in the book that was published and by that made official for TLK book universe? Even though the mane and eye colour does contradict what the author describes in the text... and then there's the stupid illogicness/unrealisticness of Scar's buffalo horn incident.... I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT BOOK GOT PUBLISHED. I know it's targeted for kids, but still. Geesh!
