The Mystics. *Private Arani and QOPR*

[Arani]

(No problem at all! Glad to see you back here, we can finally pick up on the RP.) ^_^

"No, not at all." Hatari said quickly. "I often get guidence from my ancestors, especially my dad..." Her face suddenly filled with sadness and grief. She looked down, trying to cover her sadness. She knew that she should have let it go months ago, but for some unknown reason, she never could. "Ya. Especially my dad."

[AdAstrα]

Ayira nodded understandingly. "He was a good king." she said, "And the bond between the two of you will last forever. But there are times when you just wish they were right beside you." She sighed. "I hear so many different voices. The only one I never hear is that of my mother, which I find very strange indeed, because she died long ago. I can't help but wonder why she never speaks to me.." She turned to Hatari. "I'm so glad I met you,Hatari. I really do feel like I could talk to you about anything. Things that are difficult for others to understand."

[Arani]

Hatari nodded. "Yes, I know. But I feel like I could be much better at ruleing if he was beside me, but at least we can still talk, and that means everything to me." She looked back at Ayria. "And yes, that is very strange. I am starting to wonder why myself. I hope that some day you will hear her again." She smiled. "Ya, the feeling is the same for me. Little things that only the two of us can uderstand. Even my mate, Tahi, can't uderstand at some points, even though his father was a mystic."

Ayira raised her eyebrows. "His father was a mystic,too? That's really interesting. It's certainly not a common gift to have. Do you know anything about his origins?"

[Arani]

Hatari realized something. She knew almost nothing about Tahi's life except his family and that he was the heir to the throne in his old home. "Not really." She said. "I know who his family is. They live with us on Pride rock. Isabella, one of the lionesses who saved me from Hofu, is one of his 3 sisters. His father, Kuno, is dead. He was killed by Zira. And he was the heir to the throne in his old home before he came here. And as far as I know, Tahi's father was the only Mystic in his family. He doesn't really like to talk about his past much, even to me."

Ayira nodded. "I see." she said. She opened her mouth to put a sudden thought into words, but fell silent as she heard another lioness approach.
"Hey." It was Vitani. "We're gonna go for a hunt now..if you guys wanna come along?"

[Arani]

Hatari turned as Vitani aproched them. "Ya... ya sure, I'll come." She said with an uneasy voice.

Vitani smiled and turned to Ayira, who looked unusually absent-minded. "Erm,I suppose you might wanna stay here,Ayira? It won't take long,the herds are already gathering by the waterhole in this heat. We'll be back soon anyway." She realized almost immediately that Ayira would find this statement offensive, and was not surprised to see the lioness turn her head away as she finished speaking. Vitani had not intended for her words to sound quite so harsh, but there was no denying the truth: Ayira was blind and her being involved in a hunt was risky not only for her own safety, but for everyone else's. She glanced back at Hatari. "Come on dear." She added quickly, unwilling to dwell on the subject any further.

[Arani]

Hatari looked at Ayria, who had her head turned away from both of them. She understood what her Aunt meant, but she couldn't help but feel bad for Ayria. After all, she did survive on her own for a very long time... maybe she could come along. "Aunt Vitani, maybe we can let Ayria come. I mean she survive on her own for so long and had to eat something. She could at least come for more company, at the very least."

Vitani looked from Hatari to Ayira, whose ears had perked up. She had evidently underestimated her skills as a Mystic, of which she knew enough not to question how she coped with the visual impairment. But at this moment she had still,somehow, looked Ayira in the eyes and seen the helpless cub she had once been, rather than the strong adult she had become. It was a mistake she now regretted, yet she could not bring herself to apologize. Not now.
She looked down. "Allright then. Let's go." she said.
